India is all set to roll out the world's biggest vaccination programme today. Over 3 lakh healthcare workers will be inoculated on the first day of the much-anticipated vaccine drive. A total of 3,006 session sites across all states and union territories will be virtually connected during the launch at 10:30 am by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and around 100 beneficiaries will be vaccinated at each session site.
Many countries have granted emergency use authoritization for covid-19 vaccines and have started the process of vaccinating healthcare workers and high risk groups. India's regulator has granted restricted emergency use approval for two vaccines --Covishield and Covaxin.

The total market value of cryptocurrencies surpassed $1 trillion (roughly Rs. 73,12,050 crores) for the first time Thursday amid a frenzied and volatile rally in Bitcoin to yet another record. Bitcoin rose as much as 4 percent on Thursday to top $37,000 (roughly Rs. 27 lakhs) and has more than quadrupled in the past year, according to a composite of prices compiled by Bloomberg. It accounts for about two-thirds of cryptocurrency market value, followed by Ether on about 14 percent. Ether is up 62 percent so far this year.

The merchant offering or selling that product has to go collect the product and deliver it to a Flipkart storehouse. This is just a part of it. Hence, Udaan tried to make this process more comfortable and even succeeded at it.

The Reserve Bank of India said it has no information about loans of the top 100 defaulters and wilful defaulters that banks had written off, just over four months after it had put the total write-off of the largest 50 wilful defaulters at Rs 68,600 crore.

“The information sought is not available with us,” the central bank said in a recent response to an RTI petition by a Kolkata-based activist, who had sought details on the loans that had been written off, along with the amount that each of the 100 defaulters and wilful defaulters had owed to banks and the period when the loans to them had been sanctioned and disbursed

The Paytm Cricket League was active on the payment app until the morning of September 18, it was taken down on grounds of violating Play Store’s gambling policies in India. In its post, Paytm cites the presence of UPI cashback offer and scratch cards feature on the app as the reason why Google de-listed it from the store.
Clearly, Google’s decision to take down one of the biggest payment system’s app in India off its app store hasn’t gone down too well and more so with the Paytm First Games that recently onboarded Sachin Tendulkar as the brand ambassador to create awareness about fantasy sports in India.

A hospital in India has deployed a customer-service robot to patrol its wards, connecting coronavirus patients to friends and relatives. Developed by Bengaluru-based start-up Invento Robotics, the robot is very well know after its interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at an event in 2017.The robot cost the hospital nearly 1 million rupees. Mitra is also used for consultation as deitician and psychologists can not come in direct contact with patients.
