Thakur College of Science & Commerce organised the Smart India Hackathon 2026 (SIH) Internal hosted by School of Computational Science & Technology on 24th August, 2026🚀

With 70+ teams and 450+ students participating, 250+ students qualified for the further rounds. The event was a great success, celebrating innovation, teamwork and young talent! 💡🏆

*First Aid Training Programme*

The Women Development & Empowerment Cell (WDC), TCSC, organised a First Aid Training Programme on 24th August 2026 at the Seminar Hall.

The session was conducted by Mr. Rajesh Shirke, FSAI – Fire & Security Association of India. Students gained basic knowledge of first aid, emergency response, and safety measures. The session was attended by 269 students.

The Women Development Cell organised Yuva Samvad – Fostering Youth Leadership on 18th August 2026 with Ms. Priya Sawant as the speaker.

The session focused on leadership, confidence, communication and social responsibility

Thakur College of Science and Commerce came alive with pride and enthusiasm as we celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day. ✨

The ceremonial Drill and March Past by our dedicated NCC and NSS cadets was a powerful display of discipline, dedication, teamwork and national spirit. Their synchronized steps and unwavering spirit truly reflected the values of Unity, Service and Nation First. 🇮🇳
