Visceral fat is the fat stored in our abdominal cavity surrounding internal organs like the liver, intestines, pancreas, unlike subcutaneous fat which lies beneath our skin. Visceral fat increases the ridk of hesrt disease, type2 diabetes and certain cancers. Poor diet, lack of exercise, stress and genetics can contribute to the build- up.
Reducing visceral fat involves a combination of regular exercise, nutritious diet and lifestyle changes such as :
1] cut back on sugar
2] increase fibre intake
3] consuming healthy fats (Omega 3)
4] no processed food
5] Regular exercise
6] No alcohol
7] right amount of sleep
