And to round up our Theater offerings this semester…
Our High School performers delivered a moving rendition of “Can You Hear the People Sing?” capturing the emotion, power, and spirit of revolutions and love with remarkable depth.
From vocals and acting to tech, staging, and direction, this production reflected months of commitment and artistry across our student and production community.
A huge bravo to every cast and crew member who helped create a performance that will stay with us for a long time.

A Wrinkle in Time took the stage last week, powered by imagination, teamwork, and an extraordinary amount of heart.
Our Middle School cast and crew poured weeks of work into bringing this story to life, from bold characters to creative staging and some behind-the-scenes magic.
We’re so proud of their dedication and the joy they shared with our community.

Book Week ~ Read India, Love India
Last week our school community was engaged in celebration of the written word. This year’s theme at Book Week was “Read India, love India”.
Across both campuses we had workshops with authors & illustrators, a theater performance and a pop-up bookstore and the famed Book Assembly and Book Character Dress up day at the Elementary Campus!
What’s your favorite book that makes you love India?

Our Kindergarten authors have been busy learning about the writers process from brainstorming to publishing.
After planning, drafting, and revising their own books, our young writers celebrated by sharing their published works with their Pre-K friends!
Seeing their words and pictures bring joy reminded us that writing connects us — one story at a time.

Our Elementary School “Parents as Partners” events give families a meaningful window into their child’s learning: what we teach, how we teach it, and why it matters.
They also highlight how we use feedback to support growth, helping parents carry these practices into their homes.
Most importantly, these moments let our students shine by sharing their learning, celebrating their progress, and showing they know what’s next on their journey.

Our atrium came alive this afternoon with music and Eagle spirit as students took the stage for our first Café Concert of the year.
There were soulful solos and upbeat performances, which made our extended lunch and Eagle’s Hour about talent, support, courage, and sharing the joy of music with our community.

They may have been a small delegation, but they were a mighty one!
Our Eagles represented Turkey, Egypt, and USA across NATO, Security Council and Human Rights Council committees at DAIMUN this week — debating, drafting, and passing resolutions along the way.
It was a fantastic first conference of the season, with three more still to come!

This week, ASB welcomed Roger Sams, guest artist in residence and celebrated composer known for his work with Orff Schulwerk and Kodály.
Roger spent time making music with our youngest learners, while also working with our older singers to bring everyone’s voices together in harmony.
ASB has commissioned a brand-new choral piece, “What is Pink?”, written especially for our community. The song beautifully weaves the innocence and sweetness of younger voices with the depth and maturity of older students.
Roger brought high expectations, plenty of laughter, and genuine connection to every rehearsal, and our singers loved the experience.
We can’t wait to share this special piece with our community at the SSC Choir Concert in December.

This week, Grades 6–8 kicked off ASB’s Middle School Community & Social Responsibility program. This program is a year-long journey of learning, action, and impact.
Through hands-on projects and real partnerships with NGOs across Mumbai, our middle schoolers will venture beyond the classroom to connect with organizations tackling social and environmental challenges head-on. From sustainability initiatives to community outreach, they’ll see firsthand what it means to be part of the change, while building empathy, awareness, and leadership skills along the way.
CSR at ASB is about helping our students understand their role in the world around them, and empowering them to use their voices and ideas to make that world better.
Here’s to a year of purpose, courage, and community as our middle schoolers rise to the challenge!

Senior year celebrations have officially begun! Last Friday, our Class of 2026 came together bright and early for Senior Breakfast - a tradition filled with good food, great company, and plenty of laughter. After toasting to the year ahead, the class heard from two student and two teacher speakers who shared stories, advice, and lots of heart. The morning wrapped up with a cap-and-gown class photo, which is our Seniors’ first big milestone of their final year.
A huge thank you to our incredible Senior parents for putting it all together and making the morning so special! Here’s to many more traditions and memories to come!

Our Grade 4/5 students have started off the year, playing drums and percussion, with energy!.
Multiage students began by learning a body percussion pattern paired with the chant “Welcome to the Year (We’re Here!)” and then transferred it onto the big drums.
This rhythmic chant also works in a two-part canon, which means multiage students are already using teamwork and taking on complex challenges in music and movement right from the very start of the year. Bravo!

Inspired by the magic of Harry Potter, House Sorting at ASB is a celebration of community, spirit, and belonging.
Yesterday, our new Middle School students were “sorted” into their Houses, and through that connected with peers across grades to embrace what it means to be part of something bigger than themselves.
In our Middle School, traditions like these build lasting connections and school spirit.
