Earlier this week, our Grade 11 students participated in the College Application Kick-Off Retreat, and it was an incredible day of learning and growth!
From drafting personal statements to exploring “best-fit” universities and engaging in mock interviews, our students took their first big steps toward their academic futures. The energy, focus, and determination they brought to each session were truly inspiring!

We were thrilled to welcome the brilliant David Walliams to ASB for a morning filled with laughter, creativity, and invaluable lessons!
Our students, ranging from grades 3 to 12, were captivated as David brought his stories to life. He read excerpts from his beloved books, enacted scenes with humor and flair, and answered questions with insight and wit. It was an unforgettable experience that combined the magic of storytelling with meaningful life lessons.
Through his visit, David reminded us of the profound power of literature—not just to entertain, but to teach the beauty of self-expression. His engaging approach inspired our students to dream big, embrace their creativity, and value the art of storytelling.
We’re grateful for this remarkable opportunity and the spark of imagination it ignited across our community. Thank you, , for leaving us with a renewed love for reading and learning!

Our 3rd graders took learning outdoors! On a short hike through Maharashtra Nature Park, they sharpened their observation skills and explored how animals adapt to survive in the wild. As part of their “Sharing the Planet” unit, they made fascinating discoveries and sparked their curiosity about the natural world.

The unit on Sharing the Planet brought our Kindergarten and Grade 2 students together for a hands-on exploration of nature!
From becoming plant detectives to crafting bug hotels with recycled materials, our young learners delved into the wonders of the environment. They observed leaves, flowers, seeds, and beans to create stunning drawings and awareness posters. Some even built nature-inspired structures using wooden blocks!
This meaningful collaboration not only deepened their understanding of plants and sustainability but also fostered a beautiful bond between the two grades.

Around the world in one day! ASB’s Festival of Nations brought our community together to celebrate the rich tapestry of cultures that make us unique. From vibrant performances to delicious cuisines, today was a journey of connection, learning, and joy.

Our 6th-grade scientists demonstrated their learning with creativity - exhibition that was a summative assessment for their unit on Biodiversity & Adaptation!
From 3D models to tri-fold posters, their projects highlighted unique organisms and the biomes they call home. With engaging three-minute presentations, they brought science to life and shared their passion for learning.

Yatra, ASB’s high school experiential learning program, takes students beyond the classroom to explore the world around them. Designed to foster personal growth, cultural appreciation, and environmental stewardship, Yatra offers two strands of experiences:
Strand 2: Opening New Horizons
Through our Personal Challenge and Growth trips, students from grades 9 through 12 stepped out of their comfort zones to:
- Master new skills like rafting and diving
- Conquer Himalayan treks
- Discover their inner strength and resilience
From the deep waters of Rameshwaram to the towering peaks of Nag Tibba, these adventures sparked growth and built lifelong memories.
Through Yatra, students develop essential skills, broaden their perspectives, and gain a deeper understanding of their impact on the world. This program is a cornerstone of ASB’s mission to inspire inquiry and empower students to enhance the lives of others.

From the rainforests of Kerala to the architecture of Ahmedabad, our students are making a difference while learning about the beauty and diversity of India.

Our Middle School Week Without Walls (WWW) program last week took students beyond the classroom, offering meaningful experiences in education, service, and personal growth.
Grade 6 embarked on a Maharashtra Mixed Adventure Week. Students spent a significant part of each day outdoors participating in art workshops, group challenges, adventure activities, hikes, and raft building competitions. A week of learning, laughter, and teamwork!
Grade 7 participated in a young archaeologist expedition. They explored the amazing archaeological site in Hampi which had incredible ruins, stunning temples, and sloth bears! A week filled with history, adventure, and discovery.
Grade 8 enjoyed an immersive trip to Ranthambore and truly experienced the glory of one of the best Tiger reserves of India while understanding the flora, fauna and conservation challenges and the varied aspects it. A journey of awe, learning, and environmental awareness!
From embracing challenges to making an impact, each grade discovered personal strengths, took on new challenges with courage, celebrated India’s rich culture and heritage, and reflected on the impact of their actions on others and the environment. Go Eagles!

Grade 3 kicked off their Sharing the Planet unit with an inspiring visit to the Wildlife Photography Exhibition at the Art House!
In small groups guided by our STEM, Art, and PE teachers, students explored three floors of stunning photography from around the globe.. Each image showcased diverse perspectives, captured by people of all ages, across various categories.
This immersive experience set the stage for deeper inquiry, as we make predictions, connections, and unpack the central idea together. A powerful start to a transdisciplinary journey into the new year!

Eagles Day 2024 was a celebration of teamwork, resilience, and joy. From Pre-K to Grade 5, our students embraced challenges, cheered each other on, and showcased the true spirit of our community.
Eagles Day wasn’t just about sports; it was a showcase of camaraderie and teamwork, where every student, regardless of size or grade, shone brightly. You all proved that our Eagle spirit knows no bounds!
Their energy and determination brought our field and spaces to life, creating moments of connection and growth. This day wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our faculty and staff—thank you for inspiring our young Eagles to soar!

Pre K has been on a delightful journey exploring Masala Chai and the many chai traditions across India. As part of their ongoing unit of inquiry, the young learners have been hosting tea parties, inviting members of the community to experience their discoveries, and celebrate the joy of sharing tea together.
