VARC can feel unpredictable, but your preparation doesn’t have to be.

With CAT 2026 getting closer, the focus should shift from randomly solving more questions to building a repeatable strategy. That means consistent RC and VA practice, daily reading, regular mocks and, most importantly, analysing why you got a question right or wrong.

Your mocks should also help you figure out what works for you: how many RCs to attempt, whether to start with RC or VA, how much time to allocate and when to skip.
