We are a group of nature lovers who form the Mulund unit of Hariyali, Thane.
Most of the events displayed here are organised in Mulund with the enthusiastic support of school and college students, corporates and local citizens. Hariyali is an NGO (Non Governmental Organization), working in the field of protection and upgradation of environmental conditions, having its base in Thane, a twin city of Mumbai, the commercial capital of India.It is registered under the Societies

This Project is taken by 'Hariyali Mulund vibhag' at Tetavali village,Rabale ,Navi Mumbai in 2017 under tripartite agreement between Forest dept.,Govt.of Maharashtra,Hariyali (NGO)& Vyakti vikas kendra (funder).The project is carried out on 33acres of land for 7years .About 15000plants are planted through shramdan of about 5000 peoples participation from various corporate groups,schools , colleges & nature lovers.
About 9 bandaras(5 pakka & 4 earthen) are constructed on available small & big water courses for storing water under water conservation.
After 7years the well grown manmade forest will be handed over to Forest ,govt of Maharashtra.
This is the third successful project of manmade forest by Hariyali.
