Begins with fascinating moon mythology across cultures and takes you through India’s Moon Missions

The teaser will be out this evening and showcased in planetariums tomorrow on National Space Day 2025

The full show (2D & Active 3D) will be ready by October 2025, as rendering continues round the clock at our Vedarth Studio.

Special thanks to Dr. Sudheer Kumar N - Former Director CBPO at ISRO HQ for the Show Script and his invaluable technical support.

The Indira Gandhi Planetarium project of CSTUP , Government of Uttar Pradesh has officially reopened to the public on 19th August 2025 with a state-of-the-art upgrade.

The planetarium now features the Cosm E&S Digistar 8K 3D Planetarium System and a Spitz NanoSeam 15M Projection Dome—delivering breathtaking immersive experiences for all visitors.

This cutting-edge installation has been executed by Infovision, marking India’s 64th Digistar site.

India’s first Digistar 2025-backed planetarium opens in Pune - at the Adarsha Shikshan Mandali's Abhinav School.

The initiative has been completed through a donation by Vidyalakshmi Foundation, a private trust run by the family members of the late educationist Dr Nanasaheb Upasani, the first president of ASM

Dr Nanasaheb Upasani Planetarium at the Adarsh Shikshan Mandali’s (ASM) Abhinava Primary School in Erandwane was opened to the public on Sunday. It was inaugurated by Arvind Paranjpye, director, Nehru Planetarium, Mumbai; Suresh Naik, Ex-Group Director, ISRO and other dignitaries on April 30.

Speaking at the event held on Sunday, Paranjpye said, “After the Digital Planetariums started in 2003, there has been a lot of technological innovation. With the opening of ASM’s project, a real sky-like immersive experience can be enjoyed by students and enthusiasts in the heart of Pune. Being aligned with NEP 2020, it will help create curiosity in children’s minds and will help in research as well.”

“The planetarium comes with the latest technology and infrastructure for a theatrical experience with a 360-degree view. The projection system installed is Digistar 2025 from Evans and Sutherland, USA, the first of its kind in the country,” said Abhijit Shetye, director of Infovision Technology, which facilitated the installation.

🙏 A Tribute to Prof. Narlikar 🙏

Prof. Narlikar was one of our greatest inspirations in bringing digital planetarium systems to India.

In 2001, when we first demonstrated our Digistar Astronomy Simulation software, he personally evaluated it. With his encouragement, Nehru Planetarium received the green light to upgrade marking the birth of India’s first digital planetarium in 2003. Today, we’re proud to have over 60 digital planetariums across the country.

At the inauguration of the first digital planetarium, he said:

“You will be truly successful only when this planetarium system reaches every child in the country.”

Those words stayed with us.

In 2010, we launched India’s first Mobile Planetarium and had the privilege of showing it to him. He was very happy and today, many such mobile planetariums are inspiring children across India.

Sir, we will miss you deeply. Your vision lives on. 🌠

Inauguration of the Science Art Gallery, Ratnagiri

A historic day for Ratnagiri as Bharat Ratna Shri. Dr. A.P. K. Abdul Kalam Science Art Gallery officially opens its doors! This state-of-the-art facility, designed by *Sarth Enterprises, Pune*, and executed by *Infovision Technologies Pvt Ltd., Mumbai*, seamlessly blends the worlds of science and art, offering a unique cultural and educational experience.

The gallery was inaugurated by renowned scientist Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar, with veteran actor Nana Patekar and Dr. Vikas Amte (Chief Functionary of Anandvan Project) adding to the celebration. Dr. Mashelkar hailed the gallery as a “groundbreaking initiative” that will inspire curiosity and creativity in the minds of young people, while Nana Patekar emphasized the gallery’s role as a space where “science and art converge to tell compelling stories about our world.”

The event saw enthusiastic participation from local dignitaries, students, and educators, highlighting the community's excitement for this new cultural landmark. In his speech, Industries Minister Shri Uday Samant reaffirmed the government’s support for the gallery, describing it as “a beacon of knowledge and creativity” that will inspire future generations.

*National Space Day Celebration*

On August 22, 2024, National Space Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Nehru Planetarium in New Delhi.

The event was graced by the presence of Dr. S. Somanath, Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). His insights into the vision behind India's space program added immense value to the occasion.

A full-dome video teaser of the "Chandrayaan" lift-off and landing, created by the team from Infovision - Vedarth, was screened during the event and received high praise from attendees.
