Nine Book Workshop: Managing Life

My career stretches across 33 years; a Corporate Leader for 12 years and later as a Management Studies Educator & Corporate Trainer for the next 21 years in the areas of Behavioural Sciences, Soft Skills, Leadership and Emotional Intelligence (EQ).

At several workshops, participants would ask if they could access the wisdom of those workshops in any other form, beyond the learning delivered at the campus. Something to reflect on as they went about their everyday challenges at work. Students asked me if there was anything I had written or could point them to, which took the management studies beyond the classroom to evolve into lessons for life. Ofcourse I had not worked on any of that myself. Needless to say, all I could do, was offer book references and authors who had influenced me. Which was a good thing too. However I missed having something from my own mind, my own lived experiences, my own assimilation of lessons learned and expressed in my own words and way of telling them. So, 18years ago I thought about writing a book. Yet couldn't find a fresh enough perspective to allow my book to stand out from all the entrancing clutter on the knowledge bookshelves of the world. I decided to make a few YouTube Videos on topics which were interesting to me and which could possibly be useful to others. At last, I would have something to offer people, beyond my workshops and lectures. Easy to access and free of any cost. I have around 32 of these on my channel. The lockdown of 2020 honed my senses and shaped several of these video lessons and advice. Or points of view, as I like to call them, which offer options and hopefully open doors to more informed choices.
Then suddenly in April 2020, an idea for a book popped right into my mind. It appealed to me so much, that in an intensely inspired flow, I wrote and self published the book in May 2020, within just 18 days. Something I had waited 18years to do !! The book is titled The Butterfly Blueprint : Managing Transformative Change.
Magically, the tap seemed to have opened and was gushing with all the words I had compressed into my mind across those 18years. By 31st May 2020 , I had published 3 books and was writing my fourth book, titled Connected to Soul. By 30th December 2020 I had published 9 books on Amazon, both in Kindle and Paperback, the last one being, I Believe : How our Beliefs Determine Life.

These 9 books individually and together are probably my most valuable gifts to the communities of learners and leaders seeking success. I hope each of you will buy them. And recommend them onwards.
