Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated on Chaturthi
Tithi of Bhadrapada Shuklapaksha. This
festival is celebrated with great Josh in
Maharashtra. In this festival of ten days,
devotees establish Lord Ganesha in their
home & in Pandaal . Ganapati is established
for five, seven or eleven days. After that
Visarjan is done . It is believed that Lord
Ganesha is the master of wisdom ,
wealth ,prosperity & Obstacles remover.
One should not see Moon on Bhadaprada
Shuklapakha Chaturthi . It is said that you
get some kind of Dosha by seeing the moon.
Lord Sri Krishna also got this Dosha once .
If you see the moon on this day by mistake ,
then you should donate white things in the
morning of next day to Brahmin .

August 21 to August 22 at 7:57 pm.
