Workshop for Adults 🎉🌟

Every writer begins with a spark. Inspiration can strike anywhere. This September, give that spark a home, with our writing workshop (exclusively for adults) at Sachmaas!

The Art of Writing is a weekend short fiction and poetry writing workshop for adults (18+) that takes you deep into the craft of creating, structuring, and editing short fiction, and original poetry. Through guided exercises and collaborative feedback, you’ll experiment across forms and leave with original work you’re proud to share.

We’ll write:

- Flash Fiction and Micro-Fiction
- ⁠Character-Driven Stories
- ⁠Plot-Driven & Twist Stories
- ⁠Genre Fiction Snapshots
- ⁠Slice-of-Life Realism
- ⁠Poetry kinds such as odes, free verse and haiku!

Whether you’ve never finished a story or you’re refining a writing portfolio, this workshop offers structure, momentum, and a community that can inspire you.

Starts 26 September to 24 October, every Saturday, 4—7 PM, hybrid mode - Limited seats
