🌺"Giving is not just about making a donation. It is about making a difference."
🌺IAP Mumbai was extremely happy to support the cause of facilitating the setup of an Occupational Therapy Room at the Central Society for the Education of the Deaf (CSED) The CSED is a primary school which admits hearing impaired children from 30 months onwards and imparts education in English and Marathi medium, to about 70 children.
🌺The school teaches them to listen, learn, and speak with means of hearing aids as against the use of sign language. The device, with the batteries and cords are supplied free of cost to them. The services also include a daily meal and mid evening snack, apart from music, art, and OT, all free of cost.
🌺It was extremely humbling and gratifying to see them smile at the inauguration of the OT room by Team IAP Mumbai members on April 14th, 2026.
