MILK ADULTERATION FOUND IN ACME AMAY SOCIETY !!!

Dear All,

Milk adulteration was found in my house ( F/204 Acme Amay) and all the milk supplied by Shankar who used to do the Home supply of Various dairy pack ( Arey, Mahananda, Gokul etc) milk in Acme Amay and surrounded area for years.

My Kids always used to complain about Stomach problem and many time doctor had observed stomach infection but was not able to figure out why this is happening.
I was suspecting milk adulteration for a quite some time. I complained and warned Shankar many times but he always used to blame company. Finally I complained Mahananda and FDA ( Food and Drug Authority-Mah Govt) Dept to test the sample and confirm the purity.

Mahananda Area Inspector tested the milk and confirmed in few hours that there is tampering with packet and COB+ found in milk. Looking at the packing FDA also confirmed that there is some adulteration and has collected the sample for detail investingation which may come in 10-15 days.

Meantime, based on the Mahananda Lab Report, I registered FIR against Shankar under IPC sec 420 and FSSA ( Food Security & Sefty Act ) in Vanrai Police Station, Western Express Highway, Goreagon E.

Today morning at around 7.30am Police arrested Shankar and they said that they will request for the remand from Court for further investigation to expsore the entire racket.

I haven't gone to office from last 2 days and was a very hectic to run after all these. But I wanted to ensure that the these scoundrels, who are playing with Small Kids and our health to make some money should be punished and theire entire racket should be exposed.

The problem doesn't end here. We have to think and act to ensure these things are stopped permenantely.

Following actions are taken/to be done from our end:
1. Avoid Middle man ( Distributor/Retails etc ) and get the Direct Milk supply from Reputed dairy to avoid adlulteration. -- Me and Prashant had a detail discussion on this with Mahananda Dairy GM, he has agreed to deliver the Milk directly from Mahananda dairy to our premises and there wount be any middle man. So tomorrow if any adulteration found, Mahanada will be directly responsibile and they are agree for this.

2. Follow Milk Adulteration Testing and basic precaution guideline to avoid/reduce adulteration. -- Guideline is published on Acme Notice Board

3. Stop all such Unauthorised suppliers entering in our primses. Thoses who can to adulteration, may not hesitated doing other wrong activites as well. It will be always good from security point of veiw as well. -- Me, Prashant and Harish Nair had a detail discussion on this and soon we are going to have a meeting to take the necessary action against it.

4. I got couple of SMS from our society saying that we had face the problem hence we stopped taking milk from Shankar. Does it really the solve the purpose? May be yes for an individual but not for all. -- Hence I would requst all, please inform others and try your best to ensure that such things do not happen again with you or anyone.
