Spectacular Participation of 12 Pune Schools in IDEA’s 29th Inter-School Drama Competition
India’s Oldest Inter-School Drama Contest – The Aaleya Jabeen Khan Trophy 2025
Pune: The 29th edition of IDEA’s prestigious and India’s oldest Inter-School Drama Competition—The Aaleya Jabeen Khan Trophy was successfully held in December 24, 2025 at Pune’s renowned Pt. Bhimsen Joshi Auditorium. Twelve distinguished schools from the city participated, presenting meaningful, socially relevant, and impactful plays in Hindi, Marathi and Urdu.
Aaleya Jabeen Khan: A Symbol of Character Building
This trophy commemorates Aaleya Jabeen Khan, the founder of IDEA and a visionary educator who laid strong foundations for children’s personality development. She served as the Principal of Anjuman Islam Alana English Medium School (CST) and remained dedicated to holistic child development until her final days.
The competition was held in Mumbai for 25 years and, for the past four years, has been organized in Pune continuing strongly under the guidance of Mujeeb Khan (veteran director and writer, holder of Limca book and Worldwide book of records)
Pure Student Talent
Without Any Professional Assistance
A remarkable highlight this year was that the participating schools did not take support from professional artists or technicians.
All preparation scriptwriting, direction, acting, lights, and even music was done entirely by students and teachers.
This made the event a true showcase of talent, effort, and genuine personality development.
