Probability is a mathematical way of describing how likely an outcome or event is to occur. Probabilities are usually expressed as fractions, decimal numbers or percentages and are measured on a scaled between zero and one. An impossible event has a probability of zero and a certain event has a probability of one.

Polygons are closed, two-dimensional figures made up of straight line segments. They are classified in various ways, primarily based on the number of sides and the properties of their angles and sides. Here's a breakdown of common polygon classifications:
1. Classification by Number of Sides:
* Triangle: 3 sides
* Quadrilateral: 4 sides
* Pentagon: 5 sides
* Hexagon: 6 sides
* Heptagon (or Septagon): 7 sides
* Octagon: 8 sides
* Nonagon (or Enneagon): 9 sides
* Decagon: 10 sides
* Hendecagon (or Undecagon): 11 sides
* Dodecagon: 12 sides
* And so on... An "n-gon" refers to a polygon with 'n' sides.
2. Classification by Angles and Sides:
* Regular Polygons:
* All sides are of equal length.
* All interior angles are equal.
* Irregular Polygons:
* Sides and angles are of different measures.
* Convex Polygons:
* All interior angles are less than 180 degrees.
* No line segment between two points inside the polygon goes outside the polygon.
* Concave Polygons:
* At least one interior angle is greater than 180 degrees.
* At least one line segment between two points inside the polygon goes outside the polygon.
Key Concepts:
* Understanding the number of sides is fundamental to naming polygons.
* The regularity (equal sides and angles) or irregularity of a polygon significantly impacts its properties.
* Convexity and concavity describe the shape of the polygon and are important in geometric calculations.

As with most teaching methods, online learning also has its own set of positives and negatives. Decoding and understanding these positives and negatives will help institutes in creating strategies for more efficient delivery of the lessons, ensuring an uninterrupted learning journey for the students.
