30 Glorious Years of Swami Vivekanand International School (Gorai)

Today marks a major milestone as Swami Vivekanand International School, Gorai completes 30 glorious years of Excellence in Education. It is a moment of immense pride for me and the entire SVIS family. This incredible journey, built on values, vision, and relentless hard work, has been made possible by the unwavering support of our teachers, team SVIS, wonderful parents, and well-wishers.

★ I express my heartfelt gratitude to each one of you, and above all, to the Almighty for His blessings and for giving me the opportunity to serve these children with a beautiful hearts and pure souls.

★ Congratulations to all our 10th standard ICSE and SSC students who passed with flying colours. My message to you is simple: don’t run after grade and percentages. The world is changing, and AI has reshaped everything. Think creatively, think differently, be unique. Let your ideas lead the way. While doing so, always take care of your health, and in today’s troubling times where the safety of the girl child is at risk, I urge parents to enroll their daughters in self-defense training like martial arts or karate. Strength and confidence should be part of their education too.

★ Over the years, our alumni have brought immense pride to SVIS, achieving success across the globe in top multinational companies like Google, Facebook, Nvidia, Amazon, Apple, SAP, and KPMG. Many have also become pilots, engineers, doctors, entrepreneurs, and television personalities. Their journeys reflect the strong foundation laid at our SVIS.

★ It deeply saddens me to share that I have received numerous complaints from parents regarding the current poor state of affairs, due to mismanagement by other trustees. The school I nurtured with hard work and dedication is now seeing a massive drop in current admissions and student strength and trust. Many of our best and most dedicated teachers have also left, disheartened by the way the institution is currently being handled. I want to reassure you, the legal process is still ongoing, and I will be back soon to set things right.

★ I strongly advise all parents, for any school-related payment, please prefer cheque payments only and always ask for an official receipt. Transparency is your right.

★ Meanwhile, false rumours are being spread claiming I have resigned from the school and left the school. Let me be very clear, I have never resigned nor left the school, as per official records with the Charity Commissioner’s Office, I am still the Managing Trustee. My commitment to this institution remains firm and unshaken.

★ Through my journey, one lesson I want to pass on to all our students: become self-reliant. Don’t wait for others to solve your problems, face them head-on.
As Salim Khan once said,
"अपने आंसू खुद पोछना, लोग पोछने आएंगे तो सौदा करेंगे।"

★ To every parent, teacher, student, and well-wisher who stood by me and by the true spirit of SVIS, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Let us protect its legacy and keep its values alive for generations to come.

★ Lastly, a heartfelt salute to our brave Indian Armed Forces for their unwavering courage, especially during Operation Sindoor, and for tirelessly safeguarding our nation’s borders with unmatched dedication. Your sacrifices ensure our safety, our peace, and our future. We remain forever indebted to Indian Armed Forces.

God bless you all. Stay Safe. Take care.

Greetings SVIS family, I am thrilled to share with you all that I have been appointed as the District Director for the NATIONAL PUBLIC GRIEVANCE & INVESTIGATION COMMISSION an NGO accredited by NITI Aayog and the Government of India. This organization is dedicated to helping citizens navigate government systems and ensuring that justice is served where it’s due. Please feel free to reach out to me with any grievances, and I will be glad to assist you.

★ It is deeply troubling to witness the increasing instances of crimes against girls and women in our society. I urge parents to stay vigilant and, more importantly, to empower the younger generation with martial arts techniques, building their confidence and ability to protect themselves. It is crucial that we foster their strength and independence, ensuring they can flourish in a safer world.

★ "On this auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, may Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, bless your life with boundless wisdom, prosperity, and joy. As we celebrate his divine presence, may he illuminate your path, guiding you towards success and fulfillment in every endeavor. May your home be filled with the echoes of laughter, love, and happiness, and may his divine blessings bring peace and prosperity to you and your loved ones. Hello SVIS family! I'm excited to share the remarkable accomplishment of Shobhita Bamane, an Alumna of SVIS. Shobhita, daughter of Shubhash Mahadev Bamane, who serves as a Bus Conductor at SVIS, has achieved outstanding success. Initially known for her cricket prowess, she represented Mumbai in various categories, including U-16 and U-19 girls MCA teams, as well as the senior women's team. However, amidst the challenges posed by the pandemic, her cricket practice was halted, leading her to shift the focus on competitive exam preparation. Through her unwavering dedication and hard work, I'm delighted to announce that she successfully passed the MPSC Group B exam in 2021 and was chosen as a Police Sub Inspector (PSI) on her first attempt. This achievement is a testament to her dedication, the support of her parents, and the blessings of the almighty. SVIS extends heartfelt congratulations to Shobhita and her family for her remarkable achievement. We wish her the best for a bright future ahead. With her sincerity, determination, and dedication, we believe she will proudly serve the country, bringing honor to both SVIS and the nation.

Sending heartfelt blessings to all on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami! May the divine grace of Lord Rama fill our lives with happiness, serenity, and abundance. Let's draw inspiration from his noble qualities of righteousness and compassion, and endeavor to foster love and unity in all our endeavors. Wishing you a joyous Ram Navami!

God bless you all. Stay Safe. Take care.

Hello, SVIS Family! I trust everyone is doing well. How are our young learners, the Bachcha Party, doing? I'm sure they're all in high spirits.

Today, I'm thrilled to share some incredible news from the cricketing world, closer to home. Angkrish Raghuvanshi, a name that's been reverberating through stadiums and headlines alike, has accomplished something truly remarkable. Angkrish has etched his name in the history books of IPL as the 7th youngest player to score 50+ runs in a match. But his talent doesn't stop there; in the Under-19 World Cup for India in 2022, he emerged as the highest run-getter, showcasing his exceptional skills on a global stage.

Behind every exceptional player stands a mentor, and for Angkrish, that mentor is Shri Abhishek Nayar. Shri Abhishek's guidance and mentorship have been instrumental in nurturing Angkrish's talent, from his roots in Delhi to the bustling cricket scene in Mumbai. I thank him for bringing Angkrish at SVIS and making all of us proud at SVIS.

It's a matter of immense pride for SVIS to witness the success of its alumni like Angkrish. SVIS has transformed into an ever-flowing faucet, continuously supplying the nation with promising cricketers who shine on both domestic and international fronts.

And while we celebrate Angkrish's achievements, let's also take a moment to extend our heartfelt congratulations to another SVIS alumnus, Prayag Kumar Shetty, for his selection in the Canadian national development squad, Canada A. It's moments like these that make us realize the global impact of SVIS, shaping not just national talents, but international ones as well.

I am delighted to witness the remarkable accomplishments of our alma mater's alumni in the cricket world. Let's extend our heartfelt congratulations to Angkrish, Prayag, their parents, and of course, Shri Abhishek Nayar for their outstanding achievements. May they continue to make us proud, representing their countries with honor and excellence.

Happy Gudi Padwa to all our SVIS family members! May this auspicious festival bring you joy, prosperity, and success in abundance. Let's celebrate the beginning of this new year with positivity, happiness, and togetherness. Wishing you and your family a wonderful Gudi Padwa, Chaitra Navratri, Gudi, Ugadi, Baisakhi, Cheti Chand filled with blessings and good fortune.🌟

Lastly, as summer vacation approaches, let's encourage our kids to enjoy their break by developing new skills and learning something different. Alongside playing and exploring, let's make this vacation a time of growth and discovery for our young learners.

God bless you all. Stay Safe. Take care.

Greetings, SVIS Family! I am deeply pained and saddened by the tragic deaths of 12 small children and two teachers in the Baroda boat tragedy. My deepest condolences go out to the families affected by this tragic incident. The loss of these children, who are the joy of their homes, is truly heartbreaking.

★ This unfortunate event highlights concerns regarding the negligence of both the school and the boating company authorities. It is crucial for parents to be well-informed about trip details, including the destination and transportation arrangements.

★ Moreover, I request parents to never give any sort of undertaking if it is requested by the schools for taking their children on a picnic. This is especially important when such documents seek to relieve the school of responsibility. Picnics seem to have turned into profit-driven ventures, with insufficient attention to the children's well-being.

★ I have personally overseen all picnics, camps, and international tours organized by my school, ensuring the safety and care of the students at all times. I have taken extra precautions, personally counting children during entry and exit at picnic spots, emphasizing road safety to bus drivers, and avoiding risky modes of transportation like boats and trains.

★ Waterparks pose their own set of dangers, as it is challenging to control and recognize children in colorful swim costumes. Swimming should be restricted during tours and camps due to the difficulty in monitoring multiple children simultaneously.

★ The safety of students, especially girls, is a paramount concern. I make sure there are lady peons present outside girls' washrooms for added security. Implementing a one-day picnic dress code of school, PT uniforms for students enhances visibility and identification.

★ Also, when schools hire external buses, it is imperative to choose reputable tour operators to ensure the safety and well-being of the students. Often, buses arranged by tour operators to transport children between school and picnic destinations are not suitable for school use. These luxury buses lack essential safety features such as fire extinguishers and iron bars on windows, posing a significant risk. Children, at times, lean out of these large windows, which could lead to a disaster.

★ I have always personally visited and scouted each and every picnic and camp site before sending the students for their added security. Vigilance and thorough site checks are essential to minimize risks associated with outings and tours. I believe the government should establish clear guidelines for school picnics in light of these tragic incidents. Strict punishment should be given to anyone who is guilty so they do not play with the lives of others.

Wishing you all best of Health and Peace in the New Year.
God bless you all. Stay Safe. Take care.
