The single best thing you can do for your child's brain that costs almost nothing is reading, especially through our new โRead for Childrenโ initiative! ๐โจ
Designed to make reading a joyful part of your child's daily routine, this programme focuses on building a vibrant community of young readers who explore books for the sheer pleasure of it. ๐
Research consistently shows that children who read for pleasure, even for just 20 minutes a day, ignite their imagination and build significantly better vocabulary, concentration, empathy and academic performance. ๐ง ๐ก
But here's the secret: children don't build reading habits through pressure. They build them by watching you read, choosing their own stories and enjoying quiet moments with a good book. ๐
Start small, because even 10 minutes a night makes a difference!

โJust five more minutes!โ โ and suddenly an hour has passed! ๐ฑ
Weโve all been there. Screens aren't the enemy, but without boundaries, they can quietly eat into sleep, focus and family time.
The secret isn't just strict routines โ itโs role modelling. Our children take their cues from us. When we put our phones down during dinner, they learn that real-world connection comes first. ๐ฌ
Try replacing an hour of screen time with a simple shared routine, such as a short walk, a board game or cooking together. Check out our simple age-by-age guide to help build healthy screen habits early! ๐ก
