Hello All,

We are looking for volunteers (must be a past student) who can manage and make this page more interactive with old pictures and conversations.

All the students and teachers are connected through this page but the page has been inactive since long. Amidst all the chaos and Covid-19, we the students of Hindi High School must share and talk about our life experiences through different parts of the world and country we are living in.

Please message us, comment on this post, will schedule a Zoom call for an Intro and discuss what all we must do to make this page super active.

Help my mother in the fight of her life 16/10/2018

After passing out from school we realize the importance of our school teachers throughout our life, we always wish to give them back, we feel so proud of them on Teachers day and want to thank them for making us what we are. Today life is giving us one such opportunity to give them back, to thank them.

Hello People,

I’m writing this on behalf of my classmate Sharad Rai (Batch 2005-06), Sharad’s mom Sarojini Rai was the Teacher Supervisor of Hindi Medium and used to teach English subject. She was associated with Hindi High School from the year 1991 till Feb 2018. In Feb, she had to take leave due to medical condition. She was diagnosed with Hepatitis C in 2007, had multiple surgeries and complications since then which include cholecystectomy, hysterectomy and Type 2 Diabetes. She had constant episodes of ascetic infections. Recently, she was advised to get a liver transplant.

In the past 4-5 years, Sharad and his family has spent lot of amount for his Mom’s medical treatment which were quite frequent and involved huge cost. School Management didn’t offer any help to their teacher who worked for them for so many years.

In all almost 25-26 lacs will be required for the cost of transplant and other medical needs. The family is unable to bear such a huge amount as they don’t have a mediclaim and they have spent their savings in past 5 years.

I kindly request all the students of HHS from across the world to come forward and contribute for this cause, Sharad has started crowdfunding on Risefundraiser, all details can be found in the link attached. Any amount, no matter how small will help to save our teacher’s life.

Also, please share this post so that it reaches masses and other students can also come forward and help. For any questions you can contact Sharad on 8879094439, he’ll be more than happy to answer them. Every week Sharad will be posting about the contribution raised till then. Till now, approx 3.35 lacs has been raised.

Also please let us know about the organizations which can help. We students can collectively make a difference. Let’s help Sarojini Ma’am earn a life she deserves.

Thank You!
