Hope you are doing well !

The menace of screen time has increased . Screentime was not an add-on to a child's day, it became the core of their day. Another factor driving children's increased screen time is that more of our lives have gone online since COVID. Online learning has become an ongoing element of education. Online work and entertainment have all become more digital.
Also, the time spent watching screen violence has also been directly associated with increased bullying and cyberbullying in both boys and girls. In addition, aggressive behavior during childhood appears to be an important predictor of violent behaviour in older adolescents and young adults.

The newsletter has a few tips to support you, if your child is addicted to screen.

Handling your own clients
Probing to identify problems and help the client
Checking up with clients on progress

You'll be working as a Junior Psychologist. If you've interned under a psychologist before that will be great!

Understand that this is a job opportunity, not an internship.

Pride Month has begun and we are kicking off this month with a specially created Support Group for LGBTQIA+ teens everywhere!

If you are part of the community and between the ages of 15-20 years, we'd love to have you on board.

Our purpose is to support you in your journey and assist you as you learn to manage overwhelming emotions.

Your mental well-being is our top priority. We can't wait to have you join our Pride Month Support Group and take part in our meet-ups every Wednesday at 8pm!
