Landscape Plays by Heiner Goebbels in collaboration with the Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum.
Inspired by the writings of Gertrude Stein, 'Landscape Plays' by Heiner Goebbels brings together 7 Columns and The Last Painting, Landscape 3, and Stifters Dinge / Stifter’s Things. These immersive works probe collective memory, human-nonhuman tensions, and human-technology relations.
Goebbels has also premiered a new work Eagles. Filmed in Mumbai in 2025, this work offers an anachronical conversation about time against the historical photographs of Bombay from the museum’s collection.
