Congratulations to the Winners – Gopi Birla Memorial School

Gopi Birla Memorial School secured the first position at the Indian Oil Science Quiz – Mumbai Round, conducted in association with The Times of India.

The event witnessed participation from 172 schools across Mumbai and was held at the esteemed Balgandharva Auditorium, Bandra West.

Our school was represented with commitment and determination by our Grade 9 students Samarth Jhaveri and Sathvik R.

The National Finale, scheduled for 9th January, will feature Team Gopi Birla Memorial School representing Mumbai at the national level.

We extend our best wishes to the team for their upcoming performance.

✨Marathi Recitation Competition Juniors (Grade 6 7and 8)✨

An Inter House Marathi Recitation Competition for Juniors of Grade 6, 7 and 8 was organised in the School Hall on November 27, 2025 in the Fifth and the Sixth period. An enthusiastic participation of 48 students was observed .

Appropriate arrangements were made in the school hall for the smooth functioning of the program. Students of Grade 6C, 7C, 8A were seated comfortably in the hall as audience during the competition. There were twelve groups altogether, 4 of each grade 6, 7 and 8 respectively. Each group recited a unique poetry rhythmically that was applauded by the Judges and the Audience as well.

Ms. Rituja and her team from Samarth by Hyundai in association with Times Network conducted a session with Grade 7 students on sensitising them towards persons with disability. The session introduced the concept of disability and highlighted the importance of inclusivity and respect for all individuals irrespective of their ability. A video presentation showcased the challenges faced by persons were disabilities and the courage and determination they showed to overcome them.
The session encouraged students to be more empathetic and supportive towards individuals with disabilities.
