This is a shout out to anyone and everyone who's interested to join /know about the Debating and Literary Arts Club(DLAC). The Debating and Literacy Arts Club is "THE" place for you if you're interested in debating, writing, drama or just having interesting conversations. We will have a short meet-up tomorrow in the college (Venue will be updated on the page). The debating season has arrived, which means that enrolment procedure for the DLAC has also begun. Hope to see you guys tomorrow!

DLAC Atharva in association with CATKing is organizing a Tech Debate. Motions range from a number of different facets of technology and their social and political implications. The debate follows the Classic Oxford Debating format for elimination round and a Modified Panel Format, rules for which are provided in a link below. Date 17th March, 2016.
The winner receives a Cash Prize of Rs.3000/- while the runner up gets prizes worth 2000/-.
This is a great opportunity for both seasoned and novice debaters.

We saw a clear display of adrenaline rush during our annual intercollegiate British Parliament debating tournament organized by Debating Club of Atharva.
The Panel adjudicator included ex IFS officer Nirmala Pillai.
Congratulations to Fr.Conceicao Rodrigues College who were declared the winners of the debate.Here are some few moments captured during the event.

-Atharva witnessed a huge pool of talent in the Intra-college British Parliamentary debate organised by The Debating club.
-Purav Bhardwaj was declared the winner.
-An excellent performance by two new members of our club
