If you love shopping but somehow still end up with a wardrobe full of clothes and “nothing to wear”… this one’s for you. 👀🛍️

Whenever I go shopping, there are 5 little hacks I swear by to make sure I’m investing in pieces that actually work for me, rather than just buying something because it looks good in the store.

Here are my 5:

1️⃣ Shop for your lifestyle, not just your Pinterest board.
Ask yourself: Will I actually wear this in my real life?

2️⃣ Don’t decide a colour just because it’s trending.
The right colour can instantly make you look more fresh, vibrant and put-together.

3️⃣ Always check the fit from every angle.
Don’t just look at yourself from the front. Walk, sit, move around and see how the outfit actually behaves.

4️⃣ Try the “3-outfit rule.” 👀
Before buying a new piece, mentally create at least 3 different outfits with things you already own. If you can’t, it might just become another “I’ll wear it someday” purchase.

5️⃣ Never shop when you’re trying to fix your mood.
Emotional shopping can make you buy things you don’t actually need or love.

And yes… #4 is the hack I wish more people knew! 👀

Next time you go shopping, try these and notice how differently you make your choices.

Which one are you going to try first? Tell me in the comments 👇
Save this for your next shopping day & share it with your shopping partner! 🛍️

Stop picking lipstick shades just because they look good on someone else. 💄✨

The right lipstick can instantly brighten your complexion, while the wrong undertone can make your skin look dull or washed out.

Your perfect shade depends on your skin tone + undertone + colour season — and once you know yours, choosing makeup becomes so much easier. 🤍

A capsule wardrobe isn’t about owning less it’s about owning better pieces that work harder for you. 🤍

If you want a wardrobe where everything works with everything, start with these versatile essentials:

👕 Solid round-neck + collared T-shirt
🤍 Solid + light-colour tank tops
👔 Solid shirt + light striped shirt
🧥 Structured blazer
👖 Light-colour denim + solid formal trousers

The secret? Choose neutral, versatile colours that can be mixed and matched effortlessly giving you multiple outfits without an overflowing wardrobe.

A well-planned capsule wardrobe can make getting dressed easier, smarter and more stylish. ✨

💬 DM “CAPSULE WARDROBE” and I’ll share a wardrobe checklist with you.

Some colours are seen.
Some colours are felt. 🇮🇳

The saffron reminds us of courage and sacrifice.
The white reminds us of peace and truth.
The green reminds us of growth and hope.
And the Ashoka Chakra reminds us to keep moving forward.

But perhaps, for us Indians, the Tiranga means something even deeper.

It reminds us of home.
Of the people who came before us.
Of the freedom we often take for granted.
Of countless stories, sacrifices and dreams that made this country what it is today.

Maybe that’s why, when the Tiranga rises,
our hearts feel a little heavier,
our eyes a little prouder,
and for a moment…

we remember that we belong to something bigger than ourselves. 🇮🇳

This Independence Day, pause for a moment and ask yourself —

What does the Tiranga make YOU feel?

Tell me in one word. ❤️

On behalf of every psychologist, counsellor, and mental health worker in this country — thank you, Keshav Desiraju.

Before the Mental Healthcare Act, 2017, we worked within a system that treated mental healthcare as charity, not a right. You changed the law so it didn’t have to be that way.

You gave us a National Mental Health Policy built with patients, caregivers, and clinicians not just handed down to them. You helped decriminalise attempted su***de, so people in crisis could be met with support instead of a courtroom. And the dignity clauses you fought to include went on to shape landmark judgments far beyond mental health, including the reading down of Section 377.

Every psychologist who gets to say “this is your right, not a favour” to a client is saying it because of the ground you laid.

You didn’t just write a law. You gave an entire profession something to stand on.

Thank you, Sir. Your work continues in every session, every diagnosis treated with dignity, every patient who no longer has to ask for permission to heal

Upgraded Vocabulary part 2
Welcome to Episode 2 of Upgrading Our Vocabulary ✨
Say it better. Express it better. 🧠💙
The words we choose shape how others understand us. Sometimes, a single, more specific word can make your message clearer, stronger, and more impactful.
Instead of relying on commonly used words, try using more defined vocabulary that reflects exactly what you mean. It’s a small change that makes a big difference in both personal and professional communication.
The more precise your words, the more confident your expression.
✨ Save this post and start replacing one common word with a more meaningful one in your conversations today.

Do colours really affect the way you look and how people perceive you? The answer is yes—but probably not in the way you think. 🎨

Most people choose colours based on trends or personal favourites. But the colours you wear can influence how bright your skin looks, how confident you feel, and even the first impression you leave on others.

In this carousel, you’ll discover:
✨ How colour can influence your mood
✨ Why some colours make your skin glow while others make you look tired
✨ How colours can subtly shape the way people perceive you
✨ A simple tip to start identifying the colours that work best for you

Remember—there isn’t one “best” colour for everyone. The right colours are the ones that complement your natural features, reflect your personality, and support the image you want to project.

Whether you’re interested in colour analysis, personal styling, image consulting, fashion psychology, or simply want to build a wardrobe that works for you, understanding colour is one of the most valuable style skills you can learn.

💬 Tell me in the comments: Which colour do you wear the most?

Sometimes, confidence is in the details. ✨

The way we define our eyes.
The way we show up.
The way a small change can make us feel a little more like ourselves. 🖤

And this one from Mokae? It truly makes a difference.

The Black Spell Kajal delivers rich, highly pigmented colour with a smooth glide and intense payoff. It’s long-lasting for up to 12 hours, transfer-proof, smudge-proof and sweat-proof—while being gentle enough for sensitive eyes and safe for the waterline.

With a clean, non-toxic formula and 91% natural-origin ingredients, it’s the kind of makeup that looks good and feels good too. ✨

Because makeup isn’t about changing who you are.
It’s about expressing the version of you that feels most confident. 🖤
