A new chapter in leadership has begun in PYP !

Our PYP Student Council Investiture Ceremony 2026–27 was a celebration of courage, responsibility, teamwork and the power of every student voice. Fifteen Grade 5 students proudly stepped forward to receive their sashes and badges and officially begin their journey as our young leaders by our Guest of Honour, Indian Cricketer Mr. Suryansh Shedge.

From the excitement of being elected to the pride of being invested, the ceremony reminded us that leadership is not about a title—it is about listening, serving, including and inspiring others.

With their unique voices, ideas and promises, our Student Council is ready to make a difference, one small step at a time. 🌟

Here’s to a year of leading with purpose, serving with heart and growing together.

Celebrating World Elephant Day!

This World Elephant Day, our students discovered the fascinating world of elephants through videos, conservation stories and a fun quiz. From learning about elephant behaviour and incredible facts to understanding the threats posed by the illegal ivory trade, the session encouraged curiosity, empathy and awareness.

Creating our very own Elephant Fact Wall, one Post-it and one fascinating fact at a time! Students shared what they had learned, turning their knowledge into a colourful collection of elephant facts and insights.

A wonderful reminder that awareness is the first step towards conservation.

🐘 Think Like an Elephant! 🌿

This World Elephant Day, our Grade 6 students stepped into the world of human–elephant coexistence and explored an important question: How can we make space for wildlife while meeting human needs?

Through engaging real-life scenarios, students explored situations such as elephants entering villages and forests making way for roads and farms. They weighed different solutions, discussed their impact, and discovered that every choice can shape the future of wildlife. 🐘💭

The learning then came to life as students designed their own elephant-friendly habitats, thoughtfully including forests, water sources, food, and safe pathways for elephants to move freely. 🌳💧

Through discussion, decision-making, creativity, and collaboration, our young learners discovered that protecting elephants means protecting the habitats and ecosystems they call home.

A day filled with big ideas, creative thinking, and an even bigger message — making space for wildlife! 💚🐘

Spreading Smiles, Sharing Hope
At FLAG, we believe that small acts of kindness can create moments of joy that leave a lasting impact.

Members of the Just Be Kind club came together to share some love, laughter and happiness with young cancer patients, at the Access life centre creating a day filled with warmth, creativity and beautiful smiles.

Through a delightful puppet show, engaging art and craft activities, and the sharing of food items, our students created moments where imagination took centre stage and smiles came naturally.
This humanitarian day was a gentle reminder that kindness is about showing up, sharing what we can, and making someone feel cared for and remembered.

Our students discovered that sometimes the smallest gesture, a puppet show, a handmade creation, a shared treat or simply a smile, can brighten someone's day.
Because when we spread kindness, we spread hope, joy and love.

This International Youth Day, our Middle School students at FLAG stepped into the shoes of changemakers, leaders, athletes, artists, musicians, and philanthropists, bringing inspiring speeches and powerful voices from history to life.

More than simply delivering a speech, students explored the emotions, struggles, dreams, and convictions of the personalities they portrayed. In doing so, they experienced what it means to be seen, heard, understood, and courageous enough to stand for what is right.

The inspiring words of these remarkable individuals reminded our young learners that big dreams often come with big challenges — and that perseverance, courage, hope, and self-belief can turn challenges into stepping stones.

This day simply reminded us that , Youth isn't simply about dreaming of a better tomorrow.

It is about having the courage to shape it today.
