Espark Event

TECH QUIZ - ESPARK 2015-2016 is a Inter Collegiate Technical Quiz Competition Organized by Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Department of IT & CS.

This is first time Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Department of IT & CS is organizing Quiz intercollegiate competition.

This Competition is open to all colleges and winning team will be awarded by running trophy and cash prize.

Event Details/Highlights

GENERAL RULES:

• Only two persons can participate, no single participation is allowed.
• There will be three rounds.
• Participants violating rules of the event will be eliminated. Coordinator's decision will be final in case of any dispute.
• Registration Fee : Rs 100/- per head.

ROUNDS AND ITS JUDGING CRITERIA:

1st Round:( Make the cut! )

• First 6 teams will be selected.
• Written test of 10 points
• set of 10 MCQs per team
• Duration: 5 mins

2nd Round:(Who stole my Cheese)

• First 3 teams will be selected.
• 5 questions per team
• 10 points for each question
• The question will be passed to the next team if the current team fails to answer within 45 seconds.(Bonus points:5)

3rd Round: ( Test your luck )

1st: Lottery Round
• Each team will be given a chance to choose a question.
• 20 points for each question
• Duration:45 seconds

2nd: Rapid Fire
• 50 points for each question
• Duration:2mins

3rd:Buzzer ONLY FIVE QUESTIONS

• 100 points for each question
• 50 points will be deducted for wrong answer.

Final points=points of 2nd +3rd round

Awards:

First Prize: Running Trophy + Cash Rs. 5000\- + Certificate

Second Prize: Cash Rs. 1000\- + Certificate

Remaining four selected team would be awarded by participation certificates.
