Little oaks preschool and activity centre

We bring live animals to school as it is very easy to deliver the concept through them. Also it makes the settling very quick. The excitement they have in waiting for these animals to come to their classroom to witnessing all the actions they do is mesmerizing. With our friend Cat visiting us we learnt , the vocabulary word lapping, we saw how a cat is , always high on energy, her whiskers and much more.

"Rain rain go away little Johnny wants to play". This used to be the rhyme we recited while we were kids. Today kids love the rains and also the monsoon season. We celebrated the monsoon season by introducing kids, from the yummy seasonal fruits to the live rainy creatures to the cloudy day and also jumping in the puddles. It was so much fun.

The surprise for the kids today was their friend puppy, (pomerian breed dog) visiting them. The kids couldn't take their eyes off him. It was great fun seeing puppy chew the bone, play around in the classroom, lick the table, sniff around with it's moist nose. It was a super fun time for not just kids but even us.

What can be more exciting than an animal visiting our little ones at school. Learning gets so interesting and direct. A complex concept also can be delivered with immense ease. Kids meeting the cow, and learning about the uder in this picture.

It has been an year of appreciation for us by far. And with this we add up to one more feather on the cap of our founder, Mrs. Ritu Joshi as she is felicitated by Prof. Indira Parikh. She received the Congress Education award for being amongst the 50 leaders in education. #2018

We get a lot of parents who tell us that kids are not ready to brush their teeth, oil and shampoo their hair etc.
Teachers and school play a very vital role in the lives of the kids, when they give them a message it gets conveyed very well. When they see their teachers making them give a bath to their toys, brush their teeth, keep them clean, it excites and thrills them as well as also develops a liking towards the same.

Yoga has been an integral part of our curriculum as kids are very high on energy, Yoga, Meditation and Chanting of OM helps them to concentrate better and cools them down.

Giving wings to the creativity and imagination of this little artist.
