Some journeys are remembered through milestones; others through the people, conversations, and moments in between.

With lots of love, we bring you another qissa from the vault — “From Arijeet” by from the beloved Batch of ’26 ✨

From strangers becoming lifelong friends on the very first day to chai-samosa conversations in the Mumbai rains, this story is a reflection on the little moments that quietly become unforgettable. A reminder that while deadlines, classes, and placements eventually fade into memory, the people and experiences stay with us long after.

Because some chapters end, but they never really leave us. 🤍

Some journeys change where we live. Others change who we become.
With lots of love, we bring you another qissa from the vault - “From Siddhi” by ._30 from the beloved Batch of ’26 ✨

A story of leaving home, finding courage in unfamiliar places, and discovering new versions of oneself along the way. From the hustle of PlaceComm to sipping chai at Nagori, late-night walks, endless laughter, and friendships that made Mumbai feel like home, this qissa is a reminder that TISS is more than a campus, it’s a place where we grow into people we never knew we could be.

And perhaps the hardest part of leaving is not missing the place, but missing the person you became there. ❤️

Quiet acts of care often leave the deepest impact.
With lots of love, we bring you another qissa from the vault — “From Prafull” by from the beloved Batch of ’26 ✨

A story of learning leadership beyond titles and authority, through moments of empathy, resilience, and responsibility. From walking alongside children battling adversity to discovering that true leadership lies in listening, staying, and believing, this qissa reminds us that the most meaningful impact is often made in silence.

Some lessons stay long after the journey ends. Some journeys become a part of who we are ❤️

Somewhere between deadlines, committee chaos, and sleepless nights, TISS quietly became home.
With all our love, we present our first qissa from the vault — “From Disha” by .pherwani from the cherished Batch of ’26.
A story of 3 AM conversations in the Dean’s cabin, silent walks through the Amphi, shared pizzas, and the kind of friendships that made even the most exhausting days feel lighter. Because sometimes, the moments we never planned become the ones we carry forever ✨

There is a lot that the shop floor teaches you that classrooms cannot.

Students from TISS HRM & LR, Alka Panda, Moumita Das, Ramanuj Ghalsasi, Sakshi Prabhu, Shakti Chaudhari, and Shivam Agarwal, recently visited the ITC Ranjangaon factory, one of ITC’s five cigarette manufacturing plants in India.

Watching automated production lines up close was fascinating, but the conversations were what made this visit truly memorable. A candid interaction with the union leader gave us a rare, unfiltered look at how worker representation functions in a large manufacturing setup. Getting to directly ask questions to the Plant Head and Production Head, and having them engage with us so openly, was something we deeply appreciated.

At Gurukul, ITC’s on-campus training facility, we were shown how AR glasses are being used to train workers on the shop floor. Seeing this being actively used, and not just spoken about as a concept, was one of the most interesting parts of the visit. The thoughtful hampers at the end made the experience even more special.

Visits like these remind us that HR is not just about policies, but about real people, real conversations, and real decisions made every single day. At TISS HRM & LR, we are grateful to ITC Ranjangaon for this wonderful learning experience.

✨ Ek Qissa TISS Ka ✨

Some places don’t just give you a degree. They quietly become a part of who you are.
Between chai breaks that turned into therapy sessions, midnight deadlines that somehow became memories, and corridors that witnessed every breakdown, breakthrough, and burst of laughter, we found a home in chaos.

From running on caffeine and Canva, to surviving presentations, placements, committee madness, and those “bro, bas ek aur slide” nights, every little moment stitched this journey together.

Not every memory made it to the camera roll, but somehow, they all stayed with us. 🤍
This isn’t just nostalgia.
It’s a collection of people, moments, and emotions that made TISS feel less like a campus and more like a story we never wanted to end.

Ek safar, hazaar Qisse. 🌿✨

Dharohar 2026 was an evening where memories met the present, and the spirit of the HRM & LR community came alive once again.

We were delighted to welcome back our alumni, whose journeys began in the corridors of TISS and have since taken them across organizations, industries, and geographies. Listening to their stories, sharing laughter, and reliving old memories reminded us of the legacy that binds this community together across generations. The night was filled with warmth, nostalgia, and vibrant performances that made it truly special.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our faculty members for their constant guidance and support, which continues to shape and strengthen this community. A commendable effort from the Alumni Committee of TISS HRM & LR for organising this event. A big thank you as well to all the students whose energy and presence made the evening lively and memorable.

Here’s to celebrating our shared legacy and carrying it forward together.✨
