We’re thrilled to celebrate Dr. Vibha Krishnamurthy being recognised with the QIMPRO Gold Standard 2026 for Education. 🏆

This feels like a moment worth celebrating not just for the recognition, but for everything that has gone into the journey. A recognition of the work, the belief and the many years of showing up for children, families and inclusion. 💫

Stronger support for children with disabilities begins with knowing what support is available.

On 11 September, Ummeed’s Social Work and ECD team conducted a training for a core group of 35–40 employees from SNEHA’s Collaboration and Partnerships (C&P) domain.

The session covered disability, referral systems and resource mapping, along with laws, schemes and government support available for children with disabilities and their families.

By building this understanding, we can help more families find their way to the right support, services and opportunities.

Building capacity for inclusive care!

Ummeed CDC’s WHO CST Focal Point Trainers successfully facilitated the WHO CST Level 1 Training at CDC Kerala, with support from UNICEF.

We’re grateful for the warm welcome and wonderful engagement from the CDC Kerala team. It was heartening to see their enthusiasm and commitment to learning and strengthening support for children with developmental disabilities and their families.

Wishing the CDC Kerala team the very best as they take these evidence-based strategies forward and continue their journey towards more inclusive, family-centred care.
