Prof. Anshu sharma, Chaired a Technical Session 0n 17th April, 2026 in Three-Day International Conference on “Creative Design Practices, Interdisciplinary Research & Emerging Technologies” from 15th to 17th April 2026.Organizeded by Amity School of Fashion Technology (ASFT) and the Amity School of Architecture and Planning (ASAP), Amity University Chhattisgarh.

An online session held on 22.04.2026 by the PG Department of Textile Science and Apparel Design focused on the "Future Scope of Textile & Fashion Design and Admission Guidance for Higher Studies"

1. Telangana Tribal welfare Residential Fine Arts Academy for women (TGTWRFAA(W)), Sircilla - 60 students
2. Telangana Social welfare Residential Degree college for women(TGSWRDC(W)), Department of Design and Technology, Sircilla - 35 students
3. MJPTBCWDRC(W), Annampatla (V), Bibinagar (M), Telangana - 30 Students actively participated,

making a total of 125 participants.

An exciting Exhibition-cum-Sale organized by the students of TSAD was held on 8th and 9th April! 2026

From DESIGNING and STITCHING to ADVERTIZING and MARKETING, our talented students managed every aspect of the event, gaining valuable hands-on experience. 🧵✨

This initiative aimed to enhance their practical exposure and nurture entrepreneurial skills, and it was truly inspiring to see their creativity and dedication come to life.

Students of TSAD—Divya B., Deeksh*tha E., and Vaishnavi K.—conducted a Stencil Printing Workshop on 27.03.3026 for 5th-grade students at BMC School, Santacruz East.

The session focused on encouraging creativity and hands-on learning among the students.

M.Sc. TSAD students Pallavi Korepu, Sneha Bommera, and Shrusti Rane conducted a Block Printing Workshop on 25.03.2026 for special students at Saksham Special School, Dombivli East.

The session focused on fostering creativity and promoting inclusive learning.

Had a great interaction and discussion on 31.03.2026 with Dr. Anirban Chakraborty (Vice President, Research & Development and Registrar, TCG CREST,Kolkata) and Prof. Parth Sarathi Bhattacharya (Head, FTSI, TCG CREST).

The workshops were held at SG Barve Marg Mumbai Public School, Brahmanwadi, Kurla West, Mumbai, Maharashtra – 400070, on 18th March 2026

The session aimed to encouraging artistic expression and hands-on learning among the participants.

Prof. Anshu Sharma served as the External Examiner for the Ph.D. Viva-Voce online of Ms. Garima Gupta at Presidency University, Bangalore on 18th March, 2026. She successfully defended her research on “Design and Development of Specific Textile Ensembles Using Rapier Selvedge Waste.”
