We are happy to share that EduPyramids Educational Services Private Limited, a SINE IIT Bombay incubated company has signed an MoU with SWAYAM Plus (IIT Madras).

This collaboration marks an important step in our shared vision of making high-quality, industry-relevant education accessible at scale. What stands out in the SWAYAM Plus initiative is its strong focus on learner motivation, employability, and lifelong learning, driven by a deep understanding of India’s higher education ecosystem.

We are happy to share that we have skilled over one crore learners through Spoken Tutorials. Through this MoU, we look forward to contributing our experience in structured content creation, multilingual delivery, and scalable implementation, and to working closely with SWAYAM Plus to strengthen outcomes for students, faculty, and institutions.

📢 MoA Signed with DHE Gujarat to Empower Students Across 116 Government Degree Colleges!

We are thrilled to announce a landmark collaboration between the Spoken Tutorial developed at IIT Bombay and the Department of Higher Education (DHE), Gujarat, facilitated through the Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat (KCG).

📄 Under this MoA, all 116 Government Degree Colleges in Gujarat will implement Spoken Tutorial training—completely funded by DHE. This initiative aims to revolutionize ICT-based self-learning and skill development across the state.

We witnessed the truth of this in Zanzibar.

During our Spoken Tutorial workshop, an IIT Madras Zanzibar student shared how the simplicity and accessibility of Spoken Tutorials can bring skill-based education to all of Africa.

A 10th standard student grew emotional, seeing how this kind of learning could transform his future.

A local school teacher expressed deep gratitude after learning how to create her own digital teaching materials.

In just four days, we empowered over 150 enthusiastic learners. Their eagerness to learn was our biggest reward.

We return more inspired and committed than ever to take this mission farther and wider.

Heartfelt thanks to Prof. Preeti Aghalayam and her amazing team at IITM Zanzibar for their warmth, love, and hospitality.

👶🏽 It takes a village to raise a child — and it takes a community to build one. 🏘️

Today’s workshop was a beautiful reflection of that spirit. 🌟 We had around 40 participants from the local community — students 👩🏽‍🎓👨🏽‍🎓, youth in between jobs 👷🏽‍♂️💼, community workers 🤝🏽, and members of the general public 👥. Most were native Swahili speakers 🌍, and their enthusiasm and engagement made the session incredibly meaningful.

Very early on, Prof. Preeti Aghalayam 👩🏽‍🏫, Director-in-Charge of IITM Zanzibar 🇹🇿, emphasized the importance of having some of our tutorials dubbed in Swahili 🗣️📚.

Tanzanian students from IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, and the IITM Zanzibar campus joined hands 🤲🏽 to dub the tutorials in Swahili. Watching these resources come to life 🎥✨ — and seeing them actively used and appreciated by the community 👏🏽 — was truly heartening.

A special shoutout 📣 to Salama, from the administration team at IITM Zanzibar, who not only attended one of the workshops 🙋🏽‍♀️ but also stepped up to become a master trainer for the community 🎓. Her commitment to building local capacity is truly inspiring 🌱💪🏽.

Learning Without Limits in Zanzibar using Spoken Tutorial! 🌍🎓

Today’s workshop brought together a diverse and vibrant group of learners — from 11th and 12th-grade students 👩‍🎓👨‍🎓 to university students, faculty members 👨‍🏫👩‍🏫, and even representatives from the Ministry of Education 🏛️. Around 40 participants in total, each at different stages in their digital learning journey 💻📚.

Thanks to the Spoken Tutorial platform, everyone could learn at their own pace 🕒, choosing topics that suited their skill level 📈.

✅ Others dived into R Programming 📊🔢
✅ In LibreOffice, a few started with the basics 📄, while others went on to design advanced newsletters 📰✨

It was truly heartening to see learners of all backgrounds and abilities engaged 🙌, empowered 💪, and excited about technology 💡.

Today, we had the privilege of conducting a workshop for District Education Officers, primary school computer teachers, and representatives from the Ministry of Education — with over 40 enthusiastic participants! 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫📚

They explored the basics of computers, LibreOffice Writer, and Audacity. 💾🖱️🎧
The highlight? Teachers recording their own voices using Audacity — a moment of joy and empowerment! 🎤✨🙌

One teacher shared, "We now feel empowered to create learning materials for our students." 📝💡

Spoken Tutorial at IIT Madras Zanzibar! 🌍

We conducted a Spoken Tutorial workshop on R – a powerful open-source programming language widely used for statistical computing and data analysis 📊💻 – for the students of IIT Madras Zanzibar today.

We had 28 students register 📝, and arranged 35 computers accordingly 🖥️. But to our pleasant surprise, over 50 enthusiastic students turned up! 🎉🙌

How did we manage? Teamwork and sharing! 🤝✨
Two students shared each computer – and just look at the joy on their faces! 😄👩‍💻👨‍💻

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do – bringing high-quality, hands-on learning experiences to students, wherever they are. 💡🌐📚
