An important update from Atma.
After 8 remarkable years, our current CEO Sneha Arora will be stepping down from her role, with her last day on 30th April 2026. Sneha joined Atma in 2018 and has been instrumental in shaping the organisation into what it is today - strengthening our Programmes, Fundraising, Brand, and People & Culture in ways that will endure well beyond her tenure. We are deeply grateful for her leadership, vision, and the care with which she has steered this transition.
We are delighted to share that Aishwarya Menon, our current Chief Programmes Officer, will be stepping into the role of CEO from 1st May 2026. Aishwarya has been a part of Atma’s journey since 2018 as well, serving in five distinct roles across the organisation. The Board has full confidence in her ability to lead Atma into its next chapter with purpose and integrity.
Simultaneously, Kavita Pandya, our current Lead Consultant - Programmes, will transition into the role of Chief Programmes Officer - placing Atma in the hands of a strong, capable leadership team at the CXO level. Sneha will continue to support the organisation as an Advisor on the Board.
We step into this transition from a position of strength, and with great excitement for what lies ahead for Atma and the critical cause of capacity building of NGOs in the sector.
