DDKF's Books Coffee and You (BCY) in its 8th Session conducted a discussion on the American classic : To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee- a lovely, inspiring, and thought- provoking book.

We were glad to see children and youngsters turn up with enthusiasm and discussing freely the morality issues that had gripped Maycomb county.

Soham won a crime thriller for his immense contribution to the discussions at the session.

A HOUSE FULL Short Film Screening Session of two short films: Juice and Teaspoon followed by a discussion on them.

DDKF's Books Coffee and You (BCY) brings to you its 7th Session and a unique way of improving your interpersonal skills.

The idea for this session is to screen short films and have a round of discussion based on them. Thus leading to a firsthand experience of the art of group discussion, public speaking and expressing your ideas.

This exercise will also help you to present yourself effectively in front of others and learn new things at the same time.

While the short films that we wish to screen are going to be kept a secret for now, rest assured they are going to be a cinematographic and visual treat as well as thought provoking at the same time. So, the good part is you don't have to prepare for anything in advance except being prepared to be open to new experiences, thoughts and ideas.

A shout out to all the inquisitive young minds to come and participate in this session filled with edutainment and with fringe benefit of meeting new people and networking.

DDKF's Books Coffee and You brings to you ‘Think before you click’ - its 6th Session on Sunday, November 5, 2017 followed by a poetry session where we intend to provide a platform to perform their original poetry pieces. We invite all the composers out there to come and participate in this session and fill this Sunday at DDKF with creativity and rhythm.

Think before you Click is a session for you to come together and discuss the very fundamental question of our basic and essential right to privacy and the need for data protection in today’s age of technology. To understand how the social media and other online applications, e-commerce websites commercialize our personal details and whether these details are really ‘personal’? Or do they have the right to use it and if yes, then to what extent and for what purposes?

Books Coffee and You is a book club conceptualized by DDKF's LNMA winners and runner ups, convened by Vidhi Dedhia where people across ages, occupations can come together and express their ideas and opinions about a common book. Every participant is encouraged to speak during the session. The main motto behind the book club is to explore, read and express. Books Coffee and You is a great informal platform for someone to develop their personality, overcome shyness and feel comfortable expressing their thoughts.
