I use Jolly Phonics to teach kids how to read & spell proficiently. These kids are 3+ and are learning the single letter sounds.
Jolly Phonics uses stories, songs, actions and fun worksheets to teach kids their sounds.
Here the kids are learning the L sound. They loved this story and loved taking a lollipop home too :)

Abeer is 3.1 years old. He is my son. I don’t believe in pressuring kids to learn their sounds, letters, writing etc early on - it isn’t required. However, throughout the lockdown, Abeer has seen me conduct countless phonics classes while he played next to me. In the process, he learnt all the phonics sounds. One day last month I asked him to try to read a word, and lo and behold, he could read it (with some guidance). So since then, we find fun ways to practice our sounds, and do some writing and reading too.
I love using Lego blocks for practicing the sounds and for reading. Abeer enjoyed this game so much that he ended up reading 10 words straight.
I teach kids aged 3+ how to read and spell using the Jolly Phonics method. If you are looking for classes, online or offline, do contact me! :)

And just like that, mama turns 70! I’m so glad we could take a weekend away and really enjoy your birthday. Time has flown by mama and I can’t believe you are 70. We love you to bits and I can’t imagine the beautiful bond that Abeer has with his naaani! ♥️
