*Let's Unite !! Let's Rise !! Let's Act !!*
We need to unitedly fight against the *threats* to our profession and it’s image as is evident from:
1. GST Audit is withdrawn
2. Tax Audit withdrawn for Turnover up to Rs. 10 Cr.
3. Statutory Bank Branch Audit is withdrawn in 90% branches
4. Statutory Company Audit recommended to withdraw in 99% cases
5. Inspite of committed efficient and effective Ethical Audit for over 7 decades, NFRA dare to call all Audit as “sham” and we have no strong response from anyone
6. Disciplinary Mechanism largely shifted to NFRA and more amendments in process.
*We need to ask few questions to ourselves* :
1. Why we are not able to convince the Govt. of our credentials and contributions, inspite of such a strong professional body
2. Are the Ethical standards, Audit Standard and Accounting Standards being so complex adversely impacting Indian business and Indian CA firms?
3. Is the comprehensive revision and restrictive Code of Ethics really doing any good to profession and its image ?
The agenda is long but threat is deep.
Let us ask ourself as to why so much ground is lost in recent times and how to regain it.
*Our leadership and each Chartered Accountant need to be up in arms against malicious actions aggressively.*
*CAs are committed to Truth integrity fairness, transparency, independence.*
*CAs will neither do any thing wrong nor allow any one to do anything wrong.*

Please feel free to reach me with ideas and suggestions on how to counter this. We need a strategy, a plan and a joint effort by each and everyone of us to save, restore and rejuvenate Self Respect and Self Pride of the profession.
We need to make each and every quarter of society understand that such attacks on the CA Profession are against the Economy and Nation !!
*Swami Vivekananda’s Clarion Call* is most apt for us:
*Arise, Awake, and Stop not till the Goal is reached*
