*Today’s topic: Oral Health*
1- Worldwide, 60–90% of school children and nearly 100% of adults have dental cavities.
2- Dental cavities can be prevented by maintaining a constant low level of fluoride in the oral cavity.
3- Severe periodontal (gum) disease, which may result in tooth loss, is found in 15–20% of middle-aged (35-44 years) adults.
4- Globally, about 30% of people aged 65–74 have no natural teeth.
5- Oral disease in children and adults is higher among poor and disadvantaged population groups.
6- Risk factors for oral diseases include an unhealthy diet, to***co use, harmful alcohol use and poor oral hygiene, and social determinants.

1- Alzheimer's disease is the most common type of dementia.
2-It happens when plaques containing beta amyloid form in the brain.
3-As symptoms worsens, it becomes harder for people to remember recent events, to reason, and to recognize people they know.
Eventually, a person with Alzheimer's is likely to need full-time assistance

Warm Rotaract Greetings,
The Rotaract Club of Delhi Central & Rotaract Club of Wilson College are coming up with their first ever joint social media project.
It is a one week long social campaign under the name Health Awareness Week.

We had Wasim Akram over from for the keynote presentation focusing on Human-Wildlife conflicts especially concerning leopards in Maharashtra.
He is the Special Projects Manager and talked about the general projects of WSOS along with their anti-poaching under cover projects.
Organized by The Rotaract Club of Wilson College in collaboration with Departments of Zoology and Botany, we loved the participation from students and also hope of more collaborations in the future.

The Wilson crew took part in The Beach Cleanup initiative in collaboration with our sister clubs and various other organisations yesterday. It was wonderful to see so many people joining in to help out and we thank each and everyone who took their time out to come and work side by side by which it helped in spreading awareness among many.
