Our EYP learners from KIS -IB, Chembur participated in an engaging hands-on Terrarium Workshop conducted by one of our parent volunteers. The session began with an interactive explanation about terrariums and the process involved in creating them.

Learners then received first-hand experiential learning opportunities by creating their own terrariums using jars, plants, soil, and other raw materials provided during the workshop. The activity encouraged learners to be Inquirers and Thinkers while developing their communication and social skills.

Our little learners enthusiastically completed the activity and thoroughly enjoyed this fun-filled and memorable learning experience.

Grade 3 learners from KIS - IB, Chembur presented an engaging assembly on the Demand and Supply of the Body. Through dance, drama, and performances, they showcased how the body demands proper nutrition, rest, exercise, and emotional care, while we must supply it with healthy habits and balanced choices. The learners also highlighted how neglecting these needs can lead to stress and hormonal imbalance. Displaying the learner profile attributes of being Knowledgeable, Caring, and Balanced, the students confidently expressed their understanding with creativity and teamwork.
The assembly beautifully reflected their communication, self-management, and social skills while spreading an important message about health and well-being.

The CSP Exhibition on the theme “Science in the Kitchen” was an engaging and insightful event conducted at KIS - IB, Chembur. Here students explored the science behind everyday cooking processes. Through creative models, experiments, and demonstrations, students explained concepts such as chemical reactions, fermentation, emulsification, heat transfer, and food preservation. The exhibition encouraged teamwork, critical thinking, and effective communication while helping students connect scientific principles to real-life experiences. It was wonderful to see the students confidently present their ideas and showcase innovation, creativity, and practical application of science in an enjoyable and interactive manner.

Our Grade 4 learners from KIS - IB, Chembur proudly showcased their understanding of the unit “Earth” through an inspiring assembly filled with dance, drama, and music. The performances beautifully highlighted the importance of sustainability and caring for our planet. Learners also displayed their creativity and research through informative boards and an innovative Sustainable City model, presenting thoughtful ideas for a greener and better future. The assembly was a wonderful celebration of creativity, collaboration, and student agency, where learners confidently shared their learning journey with the school and parent community. 💚

We’re proud to spotlight Gaurav Agarwal, Class of 2014, whose journey reflects strong expertise in building high-performance systems and scalable tech solutions.

Currently a Senior Software Engineer at Morphle Labs, Gaurav previously served as a Tech Lead and Founding Engineer at Segmind, where he led the development of AI workflow platforms and optimized system performance, reducing latency and operational costs significantly.

With experience spanning cloud infrastructure, developer tools, and big data systems—including work with enterprise clients in Japan—he brings a deep understanding of building reliable and efficient architectures.

A Computer Science graduate from IIIT Nagpur, Gaurav continues to innovate at the intersection of AI, automation, and scalable engineering.

We’re proud to spotlight Joel James, Class of 2020, whose journey reflects a unique blend of creativity and cutting-edge technology.

As Co-Founder of Studio Blo, Joel works at the intersection of generative AI and media, building innovative content experiences. He also serves as Guest Faculty at IIT Patna, sharing insights on GenAI workflows in media technology.

An independent, Spotify-verified artist and award-winning composer, Joel has collaborated with global brands and filmmakers, while also bringing experience as an AI & XR Producer at Nihilent.

With a strong foundation in branding and advertising from NMIMS, Joel continues to push boundaries across AI, music, and digital storytelling.

Grade 8 students of KIS - IB, Chembur hosted an impactful awareness session for their peers, blending student-led drama with expert insights from Ms. Garima Nahar (General Counsel, Jio Finance).

Through real-world scenarios and legal perspectives, students explored the value of personal data and the weight of their digital footprints.

The Core Message:

• Data is valuable.

• Rights require responsibility.

🏆 Glimpse of an Interactive & Motivational Session

Our students from the Football, Basketball, and Cricket teams had the wonderful opportunity to attend an inspiring session with Ayush Shete, Captain of the U-16 Boys’ team representing the Mumbai Cricket Association.

Through his journey, he shared valuable insights on the importance of hard work, discipline, and perseverance, motivating young athletes to stay focused on their goals. His real-life experiences truly resonated with the students, encouraging them to push their limits and strive for excellence.

The session was highly interactive, with students actively engaging, asking questions, and gaining practical takeaways that will support their sporting journey.
