Digital Mela Organized Under FLN and STEM Program at Sir D.S. English High School
Under the FLN and STEM program, Pratham Infotech Foundation organized a Digital Mela on 10th February at Sir D.S. English High School. The event aimed to promote foundational literacy, numeracy, and scientific thinking among students.
Students from Std. 1 to 4 showcased FLN-based Teaching Learning Materials (TLMs), while students from Std. 5 to 9 presented innovative STEM-based projects demonstrating their creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical understanding.
The Digital Mela witnessed the presence of the school trustees, teachers, and enthusiastic parents. Their active participation and encouragement significantly boosted students’ confidence and motivation. The event successfully created a platform for experiential learning and highlighted the importance of digital education in today’s academic environment.

Compassion Day Celebrated at Sir DS English High School

To foster compassion and gratitude among students, Compassion Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Sir DS English High School l on 28th November 2025.The event was organized through the collaboration of Sir DS English High School, Pratham Infotech Foundation, and WNS Cares Foundation ensuring a meaningful and impactful celebration.

The event began with the students and teachers taking a pledge, affirming, “We will remain compassionate.” As part of the celebration, a creative Compassion Wall was collaboratively prepared by the teachers and students, showcasing inspiring messages of kindness and empathy.

The school’s Principal, Trustees, and Chief Guests — Sandeep Bahmne Bamhane from Pratham Infotech Foundation — graced the occasion and motivated the students with their encouraging words. They appreciated the school’s efforts in promoting the values of empathy and humanity among children.

The program concluded with active participation from both students and teachers, spreading the message of compassion throughout the school campus.

Meeting on ‘Happiness Lab’ Program at Sir D.S. School

A meeting was held at Sir D.S. School on 7th August regarding the launch of the ‘Happiness Lab’ program, initiated in collaboration with WNS and Pratham. The school trustees and management members were present for the discussion.
