Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Colaba

Principal : Mr. P. Selvaraj Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Colaba came into existence in 1964. It is one of the five earliest army schools taken over by the KVs.
Being one of the oldest and biggest vidyalayas it has magnificent history. During all these years,school has grown by leaps and bounds. Many significant events were conducted and celebrated here. Whether it is academics, sports or cultural activities, K.V. No.1 remains No.1, for its excellence retaining its glorious past. The school has been a venue for national level social Science Exhibition and Scout and Guide Camps. In nineties school was running 2 shifts. It has single shift now.
Every special moment comes to an end and this occasion is not an exception. We rejoin to part and take home the memories of the time we have spent in our school. Every day has a night to assure that it will return again. This is the time when we say that. Though our part in our school is over, our memories will always remain pristine. We thank all the dignitaries and 11th class students for giving us such an amazing farewell, and all our outgoing friends who accepted the invitation and made this a memorable occasion.
