Your contribution will make a Big difference this Diwali to a Child in Maharashtra.
The outbreak of COVID-19 has left many people devastated in India and Maharashtra is among the worst affected states. Many children are bereft of something even as basic as food. This festive season, lets add light in the lives of children. If it were not for the pandemic, children would have begun a new academic year. And, Akshaya Patra would have been serving wholesome hot meals to children at schools
Unfortunately, neither schools are functioning nor children have access to nutritious meals. Hence, until the pandemic ceases, the Foundation has initiated the Happiness Bag Programme to support nourishment and education of mid-day meal beneficiaries in India. Please donate generously to help children in Maharashtra (Pune and Nagpur regions)
Β£6 = 1 Happiness bag which feeds a child for one month. The happiness bags contain grocery, study material & hygiene kits
