HIV the stands for Human Immunodeficiency Virus is a virus that attacks immune cells.
HIV is a lifelong infection wherein it destroy the specific white blood cells (CD4+ cells). If a large number of these cells are destroyed, the body can’t fight against infection it infection progress to AIDS.
AIDS is the condition of complete failure of the human immune system. The late last stage of AIDS is often complicated by infection of the lung known as pneumocystis pneumonia, severe weight loss, a type of cancer known as Kaposi's sarcoma, etc. AIDS was first observed in 1981 in the United State of America.
In the United States, the main causes of this transfer of fluids are:
Sexually in*******se with a person who has HIV while not using a protection, a preventive HIV medication for people at high risk of infection.
