On the occasion of World Ozone Day (Sep 16), the Zoology department of MD College invites you all for an unique awareness raising session at 3:00pm.

Joining with us for the program is the guest Francoise Bosteels (from Belgium, came to India 49 years ago), the internationally renowned dolls artist. Using the arts medium to promote the environmental awareness

Francoise' dolls represent sacred spaces and peoples' struggles. Set in the right background, these dolls depict the stories of people - their lives, their struggles and their beliefs.The dolls are accompanied with poems written by participants inspired by the dolls

In this interactive session, Francoise will share her experiences, poems and insights from her collection of dolls themed on environmental issues and environmental movement. We hope this will inspire students to use their creativity to use it as a way to promote deeper sensitivity about environmental issues.
