CRCJ had the pleasure to host Adv. Sunder Khatri, practising Advocate at the Supreme Court of India and Insolvency professional for the 1st Criminal Justice Talks for the year 2022 on January 30, 2022.

The session enlightened the participants with various dimensions of the prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002. It accentuated that the statutory provisions are strict enough to combat the money laundering menace. It also provided certain recommendations like rigorous compliance programs, regular reporting of suspicious transactions by the financial organisations, training of their employees and gathering information about their clients to better the existing act.

It was an edifying experience which helped the participants develop a meticulous view of the statute. We are warmly beholden to Sir for his precious time and valuable guidance.
