The Department of Computer Science of VESASC organised a One-Day National Conference on Transforming Classrooms: The Role of AI in Education and Personalized Learning on Friday, 5th December, 2025 .

In continuation to the conference, we are happy to share that we have published an ISBN Book documenting the research papers presented during the conference.

The book was formally released on 12th March, 2026 by our esteemed Principal, Dr. Anita Kanwar, Vice-Principals , Dr. Ritika Makhijani and Mrs. Samhita Sharma Kain with our College Librarian, Dr. Meghana Sanjeeva.

Saloni Shah ,The session focused on
developing key life skills.

Through
interactive discussions, activities, and practical examples, the
participants were encouraged to reflect on their personal
strengths and areas of improvement.

The resource persons emphasized the importance of self-awareness, positive thinking, and adaptability in facing academic as well as real-life challenges.

It gives us immense pleasure to share that, our student, Mr. Prashant Gore of TYCS, has successfully completed the Passing Out Parade and Attestation Ceremony of the 28th Sports Condensed Batch of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) 2025.

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is a specialized Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) under India's Ministry of Home Affairs.

We wish him all the best for his future in the Police Force.

The BIS Committee of VESASC (Autonomous) successfully hosted a “PowerPoint Presentation on Standards” competition on 25th February 2026.

17 groups comprising 66 students participated enthusiastically, presenting on topics like Mobile Phones, Laptops, Ghee, Infant Food, and more.

The event highlighted the vital role of the Bureau of Indian Standards in ensuring quality, safety, and reliability in everyday products. Esteemed judges Ms. Archana Jethwa, Dr. Shahana Khan, and Ms. Padmaja Purandare evaluated the presentations based on content, research, and delivery.

An engaging and informative platform that strengthened awareness about standardization and consumer protection!

An insightful BIS Orientation Session was conducted at Vivekanand Education Society’s College of Arts, Science & Commerce for undergraduate students.

The programme was held in two phases on 21st and 23rd January, covering students from IT, AI & Data Science, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Physics, Chemistry, and Microbiology.

Dr. Govind Saxena, an esteemed professional from the Bureau of Indian Standards, served as the resource person.

He highlighted the importance of quality, standardisation, and BIS norms in ensuring product safety, reliability, and consumer trust.

The session was highly engaging, featuring real-life examples, audio-visual aids, and interactive discussions that enriched student learning.
