Phylum Chordata is divided into three subphyla: Urochordata, Cephalochordata, and Vertebrata. In Urochordata, the notochord is present only in the larval tail. In Cephalochordata, it extends from head to tail and remains throughout life. In Vertebrata, the notochord is present during embryonic development and is replaced by a vertebral column in adults. Therefore, all vertebrates are chordates, but all chordates are not vertebrates."

🌍 Plastic vs Glass: Which is Better for the Environment?

Plastic bottles may take around 450 years to decompose, while glass bottles can take 4,000 years to 1 million years to break down naturally.

Plastic can release chemicals under certain conditions and eventually forms microplastics that pollute our environment. Glass is generally chemically inert and does not release harmful chemicals or form microplastics.

♻️ Reuse either, and both can be sustainable.
🗑️ Use once and throw away carelessly, and both become environmental burdens.

The real solution is not just replacing plastic with glass, but following the principles of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. -navigator

"RPP-CED"

R → Round body
P → Pseudocoelomate
P → Pharynx (muscular)
C → Complete alimentary canal
E → Excretory tube
D → Dioecious (Separate sexes)

Phylum Platyhelminthes
Remember these high-yield facts:
✅ Dorsoventrally flattened (Flatworms)
✅ Bilateral symmetry
✅ Triploblastic & Acoelomate
✅ Mostly endoparasites
✅ Hooks & suckers in parasitic forms
✅ Flame cells → Excretion & osmoregulation
✅ Planaria shows remarkable regeneration
✅ Examples: Taenia (Tapeworm) & Fasciola (Liver fluke)

Trick:* Flat body = Flatworms = Platyhelminthes

When a newly introduced species spreads rapidly and threatens an ecosystem, we label it an invasive species and begin efforts to control or eliminate it.

But perhaps it’s time to reflect on ourselves.

No other species has altered Earth’s ecosystems as extensively as humans. We have cleared forests, polluted rivers and oceans, changed the climate, and pushed countless species toward extinction.

Scientifically, humans are not classified as an invasive species because Earth is our native home. Yet our impact often resembles that of one.

Before calling another organism “invasive,” perhaps we should first ask: Who has caused the greatest disruption to the planet’s ecosystems?

The ultimate goal of space exploration is not just to understand planets, stars, and galaxies, but also to search for biosignatures—evidence of past or present life beyond Earth. In that sense, cosmology and biology cannot be separated. Cosmology helps us understand where to look, while biology helps us recognize what life looks like. Together, they give rise to the fascinating field of astrobiology.

The launch of Luna 1 in 1959 marked the beginning of humanity’s journey into the Solar System. Today, advanced missions to Mars, Europa, Enceladus, and distant exoplanets continue that same quest—not just to explore space, but to answer one of humanity’s oldest questions: Is Earth the only home of life?

Every year, before the official NEET results are announced, social media gets flooded with “toppers” and score claims. While these may be based on provisional answer keys, it’s important to remember that thousands of students and their parents are still anxiously waiting for the official result.

Having gone through this journey myself years ago, I know how restless these days can be. This is the time to stand with students, not add to their stress.

When NTA announces the official results, every achiever will receive the recognition they deserve. Until then, let’s allow students to breathe, relax, and protect their mental and emotional well-being.

Success is not decided by a social media post—it is confirmed by the official result. Until then, kindness matters more than competition.
