My journey with Timeless Tones since May 2019 has been exciting and enriching for me personally.
My motive for establishing this art class was to groom and mould young minds along with the desire to impart as much knowledge as possible which I have gathered over the decades.
This generation has witnessed a lot of upheaval starting with the advent of social media, peer pressure to exhibit only happiness thus causing self destruction among themselves, covid, lockdowns, lack of actual human to human interaction, tremendous competition increasing further pressure on our children. Thats where art comes in - to balance, to compose, to go deep into the mind and self analyse, create true happiness just not superficial, channelising pent up energies in a positive way, the satisfaction of truly creating something with your own hands, interaction among kids... the list is endless...
Me being a mother myself of two beautiful children, I wish to see this present generation to thrive and rediscover meaningful ideas from within rather than something superficial. Art also helps in cognitive skills, boosting one's self esteem, patience and enhances the ability to work as a team.
Timeless Tones is just a beginning towards this huge goal that I wish to achieve in my life and I can say that the results so far have been satisfying. In my subsequent posts I shall showcase the work that the young ones have created; taking all of you along down the happy memory lane.
A very Happy Diwali to all of you!
Here's to good health and sound mind! Stay tuned.
Regards,
Shefaly
