*Entrance exams Bachelor Courses and dates*

JEE and NEET, respectively, are the national level entrance exams for the engineering and medical field in India, but the central university admissions test came into existence in 2022 (CUCET) for courses like BBA,B.Com,BSc,B.A etc

Application procedure has already started for the majority of engineering entrance exams such as JEE Main and Advanced. BITSAT, WBJEE,VITEEE etc likewise for registration for NEET will start in the first week of april.

*CUCET - Introduced by NTA*

Until 2022, each central university had a distinct mechanism for taking admissions into their UG programs. In order to unify this process, the Education Ministry has introduced CUET which will be conducted by NTA as a common exam for UG admissions into all the central and many other universities of India. CUET-UG is for admission to undergraduate courses in 90 universities, including 21 private and 12 state universities for the academic year 2022-23.

With 14.9 lakh registrations in its introductory year, CUET-UG has become India's second-biggest examination, surpassing the JEE-Main’s average registration of 9 lakh over the past five years. While CUET eliminates the limitations of merit-based admissions for students from different boards, so far it hasn’t been a smooth ride for students.

Under CUET, NTA offers 27 domain-specific subjects and 33 languages, from which a candidate can choose a maximum of nine subjects, according to their preference for college and course. This spectrum of options has created over 45,000 unique subject combinations.

CUET 2023 registrations are underway and will last until 24 June 2023

It can get a bit confusing to choose the intake that’s best for you. Consider factors like the availability of your preferred program, your academic records, entrance test scores, acceptance rates, job opportunities and your readiness to join the program whilst making a decision.
While most Indian students prefer the Fall intake, Spring and Summer intakes are equally good for certain programs. We suggest, if you do not have your score cards ready, it’s better to skip the haste and apply for the next intake.

Your profile dictates and decides your educational andcareer pathways. It speaks about projects you worked on, your participation in competitions, internships, extra-curricular activities, skills built, and your overall learning curve.
While the process of applying to study abroad can be lengthy and complicated, most students forget to complete one important step – profile building. If you don’t know how to build your profile, it won’t matter how well you write your SOP or how impressive your Letters of Recommendation are.

With multiple universities to speak to, and only so many hours in the day, it’s important you head into a university fair with a clear idea of what questions you’re going to ask.
