A lesson may end in 20 minutes, but a story stays for a lifetime.

I had the privilege of conducting a workshop on storytelling and making stories come alive for the Vivekanand Education Society group of schools

We often think of stories as something that entertains, but in reality, they are powerful tools for teaching, inspiring, and connecting. Through stories, children don’t just learn lessons — they feel them. A good story can make a classroom laugh together, think together, and sometimes even dream together.

In this session, we explored:
🌟 How to turn ordinary lessons into extraordinary experiences through story.
🌟 Techniques to bring characters, emotions, and imagination alive.
🌟 The role of body language, tone, and creativity in keeping children engaged.
🌟 Most importantly, how stories can plant seeds of empathy, courage, and curiosity in young minds.

The energy of the teachers was infectious — they shared their creativity, their own storytelling flair, and reminded me once again why teaching is as much art as it is science.

A heartfelt thank you to the Vivekananda Group of Schools for inviting me and believing in the transformative power of storytelling. 🙏

Here’s to classrooms where every child learns not just through books, but through stories that breathe life into learning. 💫

In the heart of Udaipur, I stepped into a world where phones were set aside, and the only signal we tuned into… was the music of the soul.

The Rajasthan Kabir Yatra was not a festival — it was a pilgrimage.
A journey through bhajans, baul, and the hauntingly beautiful verses of Kabir, brought alive by the unforgettable voices of Padma Shri Prahlad Singh Tipanya, Mir Basu, Bindu Malini and Moora Lala.

Reflective workshops. Soul stirring music. Surrender. And the reminder that the Divine is neither far nor near — it’s here, within and without.

I was fully present. And yet, I’m deeply grateful for the few photos that somehow made their way back with me — little windows into an experience that can never be fully captured.
