Why to opt for French language as a subject in HSC exams???

Most students seem to get 90% or more in French, whereas in Hindi, they get 85% at most (barring few exceptions)

French languge has always been a high scoring subject in comparison to Hindi, as you tend to lose marks in the creative writing section.

For ICSE students, the contentious Group 3 subject was deemed ineligible to be counted in the Best-Five total in the Supreme Court’s (SC) interim order, precisely because internal assessment made it a high-scoring subject.

Hence... Learning French not only gives you an edge over peers in language skills, but also helps you score higher in boards.
Off-course, not to forget countries like Canada where french language knowledge gives you more weightage for jobs/pr/higher education.

French is spoken as a first language in France, Haiti, Monaco and in parts of Switzerland, Belgium, Canada, and the US (notably in parts of Louisiana and New England region), and by various communities elsewhere.

Level -A1 PROFICIENCY - BEGINNER

Basic level. One can understand and use everyday expression. One can interact in a simple manner, using simple sentences.

Level- A2 PROFICIENCY - ELEMENTARY

One can understand commonly used expressions. One can communicate in simple manner, using simple sentences and common phrases.

Level -B1 PROFICIENCY - PRE-INTERMEDIATE

One can understand and discuss about various topics encountered in daily life and give their opinion about such topics.

Level- B2 PROFICIENCY - INTERMEDIATE

One can understand more advanced topics. One can also, speak about such topics more extensively and participate in such discussions.
