Suresh Raina (born 27 November 1986) is an Indian former international cricketer. An aggressive left-handed middle-order batsman and an occasional off-spin bowler, he is also regarded as one of the best fielders in world cricket. He plays for Uttar Pradesh in all forms of domestic cricket. He was the captain of the Gujarat Lions in the Indian Premier League, and is the former vice-captain of the Chennai Super Kings.He has also captained the Indian cricket team and is the second-youngest player ever to captain India. He is the first Indian batsman to hit a century in all three formats of international cricket.

Constitution day (national law day), also known as samvidhan divas, is celebrated in India on 26 November every year to commemorate the adoption of the constitution of India. On 26 November 1949, the constitution assembly of India adopted the constitution of India, and it came into effect on 26 January 1950. Constitution Day of India aims to bring awareness on the importance of the Indian Constitution and its architect, Dr Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar.

Remembering an Indian co-operative leader, social activist and writer, Yashwantrao Balwantrao Chavan (12 March 1913 – 25 November 1984) on his Death Anniversary. He obtained his B.A. degree in history and political science from the then Bombay University in 1938 and also he passed his LLB in 1941. He was popularly known as Leader of Common People. He advocated social democracy in his speeches and articles and was instrumental in establishing co-operatives in Maharashtra for the betterment of the farmers. He served as the last Chief Minister of Bombay State and the first of Maharashtra after latter was created by the division of Bombay state. His last significant ministerial post was as the Deputy Prime Minister of India from 28 July 1979 – 14 January 1980.

Nrisingha Prasad Bhaduri (born 23 November 1950) is an Indian historian, writer and Indologist. He is a specialist in Indian epics and Puranas. In 2012, Bhaduri undertook the large-scale project of creating an encyclopaedia of the major Indian epics of the Mahabharata and Ramayana. The project is freely available online. Due to the difficulty and complexity of the task, it took Bhaduri a decade to conceptualize the project.

World Television Day is celebrated on 21 November every year. The world’s first electronic television was created by a 21 year old inventor named Philo Taylor Farnsworth. According to the UN, this day highlights the major role that television plays in daily life by presenting different issues that affect people. Televisions can be found in billions of homes around the world. But 100 years ago, nobody even knew what a television was. In fact, as late as 1947, only a few thousand Americans owned televisions. World Television Day stands as a reminder of the power of visual media and how it helps in shaping public opinion and influencing world politics.

Happy Birthday Babita Kumari Phogat (born 20 November 1989) is an Indian female wrestler, who won the gold medal in 2014 Commonwealth Games. She also won silver medals at 2018 Commonwealth Games and 2010 Commonwealth Games and a bronze medal at the 2012 World Wrestling Championships. The film Dangal loosely based on the story of her and her sister which released on 23 December 2016.

Remembering the Queen of Jhansi, Manikarnika on her Birth Anniversary who popularly known as Rani Lakshmibai or Rani of Jhansi. She was one of the leading personalities in the revolt of 1857 in India. To defense Jhansi from the attacks of the British army she even developed a force of ebellions, women were also a part of this force. It is firmly believed that though India lost the first war of Independence, but Rani Laxmi Bai sowed the seeds of liberty and courage in the Indian people. She taught us a lesson of determination and courage.

On this day in tech history, Bell Telephone introduced the first commercial push-button telephone on November 18, 1963. The push-button telephone is a telephone that has buttons or keys for dialing a telephone number, in contrast to having a rotary dial as in earlier telephone instruments. The push-button phone replaced the rotary dial phone, which had been in use for decades. Using dual-tone multi-frequency (DTMF) technology provided "touch-tone" service that would become the worldwide standard for telecommunication signaling. The system uses audible tones for each of the digits on the push-button keypad, with specific frequencies assigned to each row and column.

He was a prominent member of the famous 'Lal Bal Pal' firebrand trio during the independence movement. His fierce brand of patriotism and potent vocalism against the British rule earned him the title of 'Punjab Kesari' or the Lion of the Punjab.His death was commenced as Martyrs.
