Equality is not a privilege; it is a right. 💛

This Women’s Equality Day, we reflect on the journey towards gender equality and the work that still lies ahead. From the historic fight for women’s right to vote to confronting inequities in workplaces, representation, safety, and unpaid labour, equality remains an ongoing call to action.

At Mithibai College, the Women Development Cell (WDC) marked the occasion through an engaging interaction with women police officers from Juhu Police Station, who spoke to students about self-reliance, personal safety, and legal rights. The dialogue encouraged students to be informed, confident, and aware of the rights and responsibilities that shape an equitable society.

Because empowerment begins with awareness—and equality begins when every individual has the opportunity to learn, lead, and thrive. ✨
