Mahashivratri celebrates Lord Shiva and is observed for marking the divine wedding of Shiva and Parvati. Shiva appeared as the infinite Linga (Lingodbhav Moorti) at midnight, symbolizing the victory of light over darkness, spiritual awakening, and purification for devotees through fasting, prayer, and meditation.
According to the Hindu calendar, this festival is observed on the fourteenth day of the first half of the lunar month of Phalguna.
Knowledge disperses darkness and that's what we strive for at our Centre.
Come and see for yourself before joining. One-turn free!
